Some coffees carry more than flavour. They carry a voice. 🇧🇷☕️

Sítio Terra Boa comes from Juruaia, Sul de Minas, and is connected to producer Claudeci Divino de Araújo.

What started on a coffee farm grew into something much bigger.

Claudeci went on to represent his community, advocate for coffee producers across the region, and eventually take part in national coffee-policy discussions.

But no matter how far that voice travelled, it always came back to the coffee.

And the coffee delivered.

Three generations. One farm. One story still growing. 🇧🇷☕

In 1954, Ciro Carneiro acquired Fazenda do Engenho in Carmo de Minas, Brazil.

It was the beginning of more than a coffee farm.

It was the beginning of a family legacy.

Years later, the farm passed to his son, Francisco Dias de Castro - “Chico do Engenho.”

The land stayed in the family.

So did the work.
The knowledge.
The responsibility.

And the love for coffee.

Today, José Ronaldo represents the third generation — continuing what his grandfather and father started, while still finding ways to move the farm forward.

Because legacy is not about standing still.

It is about knowing what to keep, what to improve, and what is worth carrying forward.

And now, that story forms part of Marunic’s Brazilian Specialty range:

The women were always there. Now their names are too. 🇧🇷☕

For years, women have been part of the coffee journey - growing, harvesting, managing, planning and protecting the quality behind every crop.

The work was there.

The recognition was not always.

Then, in 2020, Donas do Café was created with a simple idea: put women coffee producers where they belong; at the front of their own stories.

Not as helpers.

Not as a side note.

As producers, leaders and business owners.

The project created more space for women to learn, share knowledge, access technical support and connect with the specialty coffee market.

Different women. Different farms. Different stories.

One shared voice.

And today, one of those coffees forms part of Marunic’s Brazilian Specialty range:
