It's interesting to think about the ways our personalities manifest themselves; it's not just the obvious things like personal style, choice of car, music playlists, it's also how we combine decor and function. Like how we arrange the entrance hall, where we like to put our keys or what we want on a coffee table. And EVERY coffee table is so different yet similar.
1. The coffee table in the formal seating of my Lahore house is definitely more about visual aesthetics than practicality. Glass, candles, dried flowers in whites and greys to offset the blue and gold theme of the room while also offering something pleasing in the periphery. ๐ซ๐ฏ
2. Maria is always inspired by current trends and plays around with her coffee table tray frequently. Nowadays, it's all about metallic vibes: gold, silver, bronze in simple pieces with just a subtle contrast in colour and natural elements.๐๐ธ
3. Fatima likes to relax in her upstairs TV lounge so her coffee table is the perfect balance between function and decor. Pleasant to look at but not too cluttered. A tasteful arrangement of classic coffee table set pieces: plants, candles, coasters and maybe some cute magazines.๐ชด๐ .a.khan
Formal/informal, decorative/minimalist, monotonous/colourful; you will different tones and aesthetics on every coffee table. And the common element that never goes out of style... baby's breath! ๐
