Thank you to abadidiyeli bomsebenzi - the incredible creative teams in both Gauteng and Mpumalanga for all the hard work, innovation, nokizinikela. And, to the amazing casts in both provinces, your talent and passion brought Ingoma to life in ways that exceeded all expectations. A special thank you to Gauteng cast, who have carried the Ingoma the Musical with unwavering dedication for many years. Your commitment has laid the foundation for the success we celebrate today
It has always been my dream to establish a junior cast of Ingoma and to create meaningful platforms for young artists in every province, ngoba ngikholelwa ekutheni lomsebenzi udinga ukuth sithathe abantu abasha sibakhulise, introduce them professional theatre setting at a younger age ukuze umsebenzi ungashabalali. What happened last Saturday was a monumental step towards realizing that vision. Watching the young Mpumalanga cast deliver such an exceptional performance—and receiving applause from the audience—nearly brought me to tears. Their hard work and dedication shone brightly on stage, and I couldn’t be prouder.
This is just the beginning of something extraordinary! Thank you for walking this journey with us as we continue to tell powerful stories and nurture young talent. Together, we are building a legacy.
