Crossroads/The House of Blues and Rock CROSSROADS - HOUSE OF BLUES & ROCK Robert Johnson was an American blues singer and musician. NO DRUGS, NO TROUBLE but lots of good music. SEE YOU THERE SOON!!!

His landmark recordings and writing talent has influenced later generations of musicians. The Faustian myth that he sold his soul at a crossroad to achieve success, rose him to become a legend. Johnson exchanged his soul for his extraordinary guitar skills that seemed to appear suddenly. The idea of selling one's soul for instrumental skills pre-dates the American South as several virtuoso classic

al musicians such as Paganini had stories told about selling their soul for music prowess (and that story may reference back to medieval troubadour doing something similar). The motif of selling one's soul for guitar power has become a staple of both rock
We want to create a joint where people will chill out, enjoy the music and atmosphere rock a lot. We realized that there is a gap in SA and we want to introduce and give the opportunity to all ages to love and accept blues and classic rock into their lives
as we have. Blues and rock is not just music its a revolution, its a way of life, its inspiration. Further more at these difficult times all over the world let it remind us that we can fight back.

Thank you to everyone that came and played at Crossroads as well as those that came and enjoyed the music with us, we have decided to call it a day and just to let you all know that hopefully one day we will open another place and it will be better than before. Keep the music going !! 'John has been inspired to write a new blues song called "I fight with the devil"

This Friday we have the Hospice event Dj and live band. Come dance for charity R30 entrance. All genres of music a bit of Rock, commercial and blues. Please bring a packet of biscuits too so we can sweeten up our patients this Christmas. Doors open early !!
