The Pilates method is a series of non-impact exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to develop strength, flexibility, balance and inner-awareness combined with the lateral breathing technique. HIIT is a combination of various training techniques which incorporates the entire body in every training session. It is perfect if your goals are weight-loss, toning, improved fitness,
looking to let of some steam, de-stress, or simply wanting to work up a sweat and have a bit of fun. Children and Teen Ballet and Modern classes are specifically designed to introduce and stimulate a love of music and dance expression, whilst developing the extremely important aspects of fine and gross motor development. These classes encompass musical rhythm, movement, and flexibility training, consisting of dance and ballet movements and actions, using and developing all the muscles of the body, whilst inspiring the learner to be creative in interpreting different musical sounds, thereby increasing their confidence in group situations. Emphasis is on co-ordination, balance and confidence, which benefit each child as they grow. Interpretation and miming increases the self-confidence while improving the learner’s ability to hear the beats of the music and to fit body movement to musical accents. Love of dance, increased co-ordination, strength, and development of a musical awareness, are taught in a fun and exiting way.
