The Dance Connection is a dance studio holding members all over and around Bloemfontein & Welkom, Free State. We offer classes in many different styles, such as:
- Hip Hop
- Acrobatics
- Freestyle
- Slowdance
- Rock n Roll
- Hustle
- Tap
- Modern
- Social Dancing (Sokkie, Two-Step and Waltz)

Additional we have some specials, e.g.:
- Boogie Babies (Dancing for little ones 3 - 6: pre-school)
- Hip

Hop Bootcamp

Many of our dancers participate in national and/or international competitions. Furthermore we hold several shows during the year or dance at functions and corporate events. If you share our passion for dancing or you just want to get to know something new,
you are warmly welcome to become part of our studio community.

What a weekend at the SADTA FDD Championships on 28 and 29 August.

We’re so proud of every TDC dancer who took to the floor. There was so much hard work, determination and passion behind these performances, and it was wonderful to see it all come together on the day.

A big congratulations to all our dancers on their results. Whether it was a personal achievement, a new milestone or another step in their competition journey, every one of you gave us something to be proud of.

Well done, dancers. We’re proud to call you TDC. ❤️

What a fantastic few days at the REEL Dance Eisteddfod! ✨

A huge congratulations to every TDC dancer who took to the stage. From solos and duos to groups, formations and original choreography, you showed up with confidence, creativity and so much heart. We are incredibly proud of every performance!

And a special shoutout to our dancers who received some amazing special awards:
🏆 Lene Kruger – Best Acro Solo 9 & Under 12
🏆 Carissa-Rose Kampher – Best Open Style Solo 12 & Under 15
🏆 Henze du Preez – Winner of the Improvisation Section
🏆 Carla Smit – Best Acro Solo 16+ AND Best Dancer Across All Styles Over the 3 Days
🏆 Afraid of Time – Best Contemporary Small Group, Any Age

And let's not forget the incredible A, A+, and A++ results achieved across the different sections!

To every dancer, teacher and dance family who was part of the weekend, well done! You represented TDC beautifully, and we couldn't be prouder.

Dance isn't just about moving to music.

Learning choreography asks children to listen, remember sequences, follow instructions, coordinate their bodies and make quick decisions, often all at once. 🧠
And the best part? They're learning all of this while having fun.

At TDC, every class is helping little dancers build skills that reach far beyond the dance floor.

Women's Month reminds us that confidence isn't something you're born with. It's something you build.

Sometimes it starts with a tiny pair of dance shoes.
Sometimes with a first performance.
Sometimes with finding the courage to try again after a mistake.

At TDC, we have the privilege of watching girls grow into confident, resilient, kind and determined young women, one class at a time.
