INSPO Dance Studio regrets to announce that, following legal advice, the Inflation Invasion raffle and Friday’s planned event (Winter Warmer Langarm & Sokkie) have been cancelled.
Earlier this week, the studio received formal notice that the raffle did not meet the registration and licensing requirements applicable to competitions of this nature under the Lotteries Act 57 of 1997. On legal advice, the studio is ceasing the fundraiser immediately and complying fully with the notice.
Over the next few days, the studio will contact everyone who purchased tickets directly to arrange refunds and confirm the way forward.
INSPO Dance Studio is currently working on a new, skill-based fundraising competition for its students. Full details will be announced once legal compliance has been verified.
