The National Museum Bloemfontein is excited to officially launch the 2026 Free State Young Artist Award Competition and would like to invite your learners to participate in this exciting opportunity to showcase their creativity and artistic talent.

The 2026 theme is:
“My Museum, My Art”

This year’s competition encourages young artists to show what The National Museum Bloemfontein means to them - not just the building itself, but the stories, memories, objects, imagination, and experiences connected to it.

Competition Categories:
* Category A: Ages 5–9
* Category B: Ages 10–14
* Category C: Ages 15–19

Prizes will be awarded in each category, and selected finalists will be invited to the official award ceremony where winners will be announced.

Closing Date:
