In a video clip, Obasanjo who spoke in Yoruba, said “Yesterday, when I received a guest. I said dear guest, you have introduced some vocabularies into the Yoruba political dictionary – Emi lokan (it’s my turn), eleyi (this one), olule (he was beaten down).

Apparently, an aging former president Obasanjo is contemplating the return into politics. Former Goodluck Jonathan was also rumoured to have bought a certificate that would make him an eligible potential political candidate. In other countries, presidents are staying in power by hook and crook, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been in power for 38 years while Robert Mugabe had to be forced into retirement after 37 years in power.

In Nigeria, royals and celebrities ( has disclosed that she would not be returning to Nollywood after the governorship election in Rivers State. In South Africa, a famous afro-pop musician joined EFF) are joining political frenzy and come to feed on the taxpayers' money, while men of God work in public mindset to arouse guilt in those revolting against the corrupted governments.

In Botswana, the people are still docile to revolt.

When people criticize the corrupted governments, academics dismiss them by calling them despondent and negative when it is them who are creating a depressive situation that makes people to be despondent. As long as the concept of electoral process is still practiced all over the world, people will continue to be exploited and there will never be peace.

The country of Uganda has been under the authoritarian rule of president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni since 1986 until present, however it is not one of the prospering African countries.

The problems in African countries are not related to recent covid19 or war between Ukraine and Russia, but are result of corrupted political leadership of leaders who refuse to leave office when their presidencies expire, they want to hold onto power by all means, and Museveni is one such example. Museveni was once quoted saying "why should I leave a banana plantation when it is starting to bear fruits", ironically referring to his long rule. Holding a political office is an opportunity for self-enrichment for these African learders.

Australia-based socialite Susan Mutami claims she was abused by President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his young brother Patrick when she was 15 years old.

Mutami claims Mnangagwa went on to tell her that in 2 weeks time his manhood would have healed and ready for have s*xual in*******se with her.
