-They say she is crazy. Calling her a lunatic, psychopath and schizophrenic. Blackmailed, discriminated, sidelined and called names by the community. Others said she is a Philanderer. She lures and entice men with how she dresses.

-The story focuses on the life of a woman “Arabang” whose whole existence was characterized by abuse and molestation; whose voice was silenced by those who were supposed to offer her protection and whose name was brought into a shame by the community she lived with and later crucified for only speaking the truth.

-The tipping point becomes the molestation and consequential killing of her two year old child while in covid-19 imposed level 5 lockdown.

With all the pent-up anger from her own life of abuse, she kill her husband. Ostracized by society and failed by the country’s judicial system, while fighting for her life she is suspended between reality and the life yonder. She challenges the status quo and the prevalence of Gender Based Violence,

-While bringing education and entertainment to a broader market, “Arabang” is used a catalyst to advocate, stimulate debate and raise awareness around GBV. She “ARABANG” boldly ask amongst other questions: “If you say I enticed you by how I dress, with what did my two year old in diapers entice you?”
