ARTS IN SCHOOL PROJECT

A Win for Our Districts

During the days SAACYF implemented Arts In School across Thabo Mofutsanyana, Fezile Dabi, and Lejweleputswa, it wasn’t easy — but it was worth it.

Reaching learners in three districts meant long days, logistical challenges, and pushing through the gaps that exist in our education system. But every workshop, every performance, every moment a learner picked up a brush, a script, or a beat for the first time made it clear: this work matters.

To everyone who made it happen — facilitators, teachers, partners, and the learners themselves — excellent job. You showed what’s possible when we take the arts directly to where young people are.

Now it’s time to move the industry forward together. One project proves the demand is there. Let’s build on it, expand access, and make sure every district gets a seat at the table.

Onward and upward.
