"حبوة" تختتم دورة حياكة الأزياء التراثية بسيئون وتدفع بالمشاركين نحو مشاريع إنتاجية
اختَتمت مؤسسة حبوة للفنون والتراث Habwah حبوة، صباح يوم الخميس 16 إبريل بمدينة سيئون، فعاليات دورة حياكة الأزياء التراثية ضمن مشروع "خيط ولون"، بعد 15 يوماً من التدريب المكثف الذي جمع بين الجوانب النظرية والتطبيقية، في تجربة نوعية هدفت إلى تحويل المهارات اليدوية إلى فرص إنتاجية مستدامة.
وشهدت الدورة مشاركة 10 متدربين ومتدربات، من بينهم 5 من فئة ذوي الإعاقة السمعية، حيث عكست مخرجات التدريب نجاحاً ملموساً في تعزيز قدراتهم المهنية، وإكسابهم مهارات متقدمة في حياكة الأزياء التراثية، بدءاً من تجهيز الخامات واستخدام أدوات الحياكة، وصولاً إلى إنتاج قطع متكاملة تحمل طابعاً تراثياً بلمسات عصرية.
وخلال الحفل الختامي، استعرض المشاركون نماذج من أعمالهم التي تم إنجازها خلال فترة التدريب، والتي تنوعت بين الأزياء التقليدية المطورة ومنتجات حرفية مبتكرة، في تجسيد حي لهدف المشروع في الربط بين التراث والسوق. كما عبّر المتدربون عن اعتزازهم بما اكتسبوه من مهارات، مؤكدين أن الدورة شكّلت نقطة تحول مهمة في مسارهم المهني، ومكّنتهم من التفكير بجدية في إطلاق مشاريعهم الخاصة.
وأكدت إدارة مؤسسة حبوة أن هذه الدورة تأتي ضمن جهودها المستمرة في صون التراث الثقافي غير المادي، وتعزيز الاقتصاد الإبداعي، من خلال تمكين الشباب والنساء والفئات المهمشة، وخلق فرص عمل قائمة على استثمار الموروث الثقافي.
يُذكر أن الدورة نُفذت ضمن برنامج المنح الثقافية الذي تنفذه وكالة تنمية المنشآت الصغيرة والأصغر SMEPS، بالشراكة مع منظمة اليونسكو UNESCO Gulf States & Yemen، وبدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي European Union in Yemen بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي في اليمن، في إطار مشروع "توظيف الشباب من خلال التراث والثقافة في اليمن"، الذي يسعى إلى دعم المبادرات التي تعزز من دور الثقافة في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.

Habwah Concludes Heritage Costume Weaving Course in Seiyun, Driving Participants Toward Productive Ventures
Habwah Arts and Heritage Foundation concluded, on Thursday morning, April 16, in the city of Seiyun, the activities of the Heritage Costume Weaving Course implemented within the “Thread and Color” project, after 15 days of intensive training that combined theoretical and practical components. The course offered a unique experience aimed at transforming manual skills into sustainable income-generating opportunities.
The training brought together 10 male and female participants, including 5 individuals with hearing impairments, reflecting a tangible success in strengthening their professional capacities and equipping them with advanced skills in traditional fashion weaving. The training covered all stages, from preparing materials and using weaving tools to producing complete pieces that blend authentic heritage with modern touches.
During the closing ceremony, participants showcased a range of products developed throughout the training period, including enhanced traditional garments and innovative handcrafted items. These outputs embodied the project’s core objective of linking heritage with the market. Participants expressed pride in their achievements, emphasizing that the course marked a significant turning point in their professional paths and encouraged them to seriously consider launching their own businesses.
The management of Habwah Foundation affirmed that the course is part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard intangible cultural heritage and promote the creative economy by empowering youth, women, and marginalized groups, and by creating employment opportunities rooted in cultural heritage.
It is worth noting that the course was implemented under the Cultural Grants Program led by the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS), in partnership with UNESCO and funded by the European Union, within the framework of the "Youth Employment through Culture and Heritage in Yemen" project, which aims to support initiatives that strengthen the role of culture in economic and social development.
