What is Laylat al-Qadr?

* Laylat al-Qadr is a great night in the month of Ramadan.

* The Holy Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on this night.

* Its virtue is immense; it is better than a thousand months. The reward for worship on this night is equivalent to the reward for worship for more than 83 years.

When is Laylat al-Qadr?

* It is usually found on one of the odd-numbered nights of the last ten days of Ramadan: the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 29th.
* It is best to strive in worship throughout the last ten days, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten nights."

Recommended Acts of Worship on Laylat al-Qadr

* Night prayer (Qiyam al-Layl): Prayer and Tahajjud (night vigil).

* Reciting the Quran.

* Supplication and seeking forgiveness, especially the well-known supplication:

* "O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me."

* Giving charity and helping those in need.

* A calm and peaceful night, without wind or noise.

The last ten days are the **final ten days of Ramadan**, beginning on the night of the **21st of Ramadan** and continuing until the end of the month. They are among the **best and most blessed days of the year for Muslims** because they offer immense opportunities for forgiveness and mercy.

⭐ The Virtues of the Last Ten Days

* They include **Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree),** which Allah described as: *"better than a thousand months."*

* The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to **exert himself more in worship during these days than at any other time** in Ramadan.

* They are filled with **mercy, forgiveness, and deliverance from Hellfire**.

🕌 What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) do during the last ten days?

* He would spend the nights in prayer and worship.

* He would wake his family for worship.

* He would exert himself in devotion (i.e., strive in obedience and avoid worldly distractions). 🌌 Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Decree)

Why do we fast in Ramadan?🌙

In obedience to God's command.

To strengthen our faith and draw closer to God.

To learn patience and self-control.

To help the poor and empathize with their suffering.

God Almighty says:

"O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting..." (Quran 2:183)
