I made this unique pendulum wall clock with an anchor as the backdrop for the pendulum. The clock face is set on a separate level, allowing the pendulum to move freely behind it. A thick rope is wrapped around the clock face, complementing the anchor and giving the entire design a distinctive nautical look.

This was a popular toy in the 70's. Easy to make Buzzer for your kids. Just cut off a piece of an old plastic ruler and drill two holes around the centre. Thread a piece of rope through it to make a loop and the buzzer is ready to function.

Concave-point punch fits over a nail and allows you to sink the head below the wood surface without the punch slipping off.
Flat-point is used to drive a small nail or pin out (or slightly below or flush with the surface) when you don’t want a sharp point making a mark.
Sharp-point punch is used to make a small indentation in metal so a drill bit doesn’t wander.

Built an adjustable cellphone stand, but after tightening the wing nut, the cellphone could still move too easily.

The solution? An external multi-tooth star lock washer placed between the two arms. When the wing nut is tightened, the teeth grip the wood and prevent the arms from moving.

A great additional use for a star lock washer!

Detailed scratch-built replica of the British Gold State Coach, approximately 1:7 scale. It measures 970 mm without the pole and approximately 1,520 mm including the pole, with a height of 550 mm and width of 350 mm. The model features extensive hand-painted oil paintings, detailed interior decoration, elaborate gilded carvings and fittings, and is housed in a diaplay cabinet on a stand. The forecarriage contains the "fifth wheel" which enables it to turn horizontally. I built the coach in 2013 (approx. 1600 hours) using mainly wall-nut and yelutong wood.

Made these two wooden toy wheels with wheel covers. The covers are glued into recessed sections of the wheels, while small wooden cross-pins on the axles keep the wheels securely in position. Simple and functional.

I evaluated/tested the axial tensile force
required to pull a fastener out of wood. Got an interesting result with a screw versus a bolt. The bolt was not so easy to pull out as expected.

Made this perpetual calendar consisting of three cylinders enclosed in a wooden box, displaying the date, weekday and month. Each cylinder can be set to the correct date by turning the setting k**b on the side. The display is protected by plexiglass. An attractive addition to the living room.

Using a square wood off-cut as a guide when filing a plank’s edge ensures a straight, square edge. Just position the off-cut correctly, clamp it firmly in place, and file along the edge. A simple trick for a good result.

An easy to make wooden latch for a keepsake- or jewelry box. The k**b was made from drilling and sanding, with the rest of the latch from dowels and plywood. The bottom and one side of this box were left open for demonstration.
