I wrote a blog post about how I make time for art with a 9 to 5 job – without 5am alarms or forcing daily drawing.

Socks as a gift again?

In social media, it’s so easy to make life (and art) look perfect and romantic. Like it’s always going right.
I do it too. I share only those sketches that feel “Instagram-ready.” But most of my daily sketching is: scribbles, unfinished ideas, random lines, and failed colour experiments. Things I never post and most artists do not post🙈

Sketching is about the process, expressing ourselves, and sometimes even therapy for our minds. It helps with stress, focus, and joy… especially when the page is far from perfect and we are not focused on the results.
So I do encourage you to post your daily sketches, no matter how they look
