YOUR FAVOURITE GREEN OGRE IS BACK!

The wait is ogre! Shrek The Musical, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film, will be the first musical back in QPAC's Lyric Theatre in Brisbane from 9 January, 2021 for a strictly limited season.

Join Shrek and his loyal steed Donkey as they set off on a quest to rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona from her tower, guarded by a fire breathing love-sick dragon and the vertically challenged Lord Farquaad. Bring your ogres young and old for some school holiday fun!

COVID-19 AND BRISBANE PERFORMANCE CANCELLATIONS

QPAC and the producers of Shrek The Musical regret to advise that as a result of the Federal Government’s announcement that mass gatherings of 100 people or more are banned, the Brisbane season of Shrek The Musical has been cancelled.

The health, safety and well-being of all who attend our shows, and our cast, crew and management, will always be paramount. However we know this is incredibly disappointing news to our patrons and all involved.

All tickets purchased from QTIX, or an authorised ticket seller, will be refunded.

If you purchased your ticket(s) using credit card or PayPal via QTIX Ticketing, you will receive a refund of the full purchase price. If you purchased ticket(s) using cash, or EFTPOS, QTIX will contact you to organise a refund.

Any other questions regarding refunds should be directed to QPAC or your place of purchase.

Her Majesty’s Theatre and the producers of Shrek the Musical sincerely regret to advise that as a result of the Government’s announcement that mass gatherings of 500 people or more are banned from Monday 16th March, the Sunday 15th March performance of Shrek the Musical at Her Majesty’s Theatre Melbourne was its final.

The health, safety and well-being of all who attend Her Majesty’s Theatre will always be paramount, however, we know this is incredibly disappointing news to all of our staff and patrons.

Further advice on refunds will be issued shortly.
This is certainly unprecedented circumstances so we’d like to thank you all for your patience and ongoing support as we work through this together.

As per advice from the government, our shows are going ahead this weekend. More information for future performances will be available on Monday following further advice from health authorities and the government.
