Stowe Parks and Recreation would like to offer toddler Start Smart Sports programs this spring/summer- but we need a fun and energetic facilitator to help us bring these programs to our community!

The Start Smart Sports Development Program is a proven instructional program that prepares children (ages 3-5) for the world of organized sports without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Parents work together with their children in a supportive environment to learn all of the basic skills...throwing, catching, kicking, and batting. Each week the exercises become increasingly more difficult as the class progresses and children show improvement.

The schedule would be once a week for 6 weeks OR twice a week for 3 weeks depending on facilitator availability. Facilitators would be given a step by step guide on who to set up and run programs.

This would be a great role for a responsible high-school student, a parent of a pre-schooler, or a retiree looking to be more involved with youth!

If you are interested, please reach out to Kelli Millick, Program Director, at [email protected] or 802-253-6138 for more details.
