I adjusted the face and body proportions — just wanted her to feel more real this time.

When I repaint something, it means starting over completely — not just making adjustments. I keep only the original canvas, which is sometimes restretched, but everything else is entirely redone. The process can take a month or even several months to complete.

“Innocence” , Master copy of William Bouguereau. It’s the 2nd time I painted it. It took me a few months. I’m 70% happy with it. It looks OK real, but I didn’t catch his light. Very tired and out of patience. Will work on it maybe in a few years when I get better. 50*100cm, oil on canvas. Painted in 2023.
