Since 2014 Matt Fryers has built a formidable reputation as a powerhouse of sound and stage across the North West’s legendary acoustic circuit. Originally inspired by the indie and rock genres of the 90’s, and more recently by artists such as Maynard James Keenan and Ben Howard, Matt is not what you’d expect from a typical acoustic artist. His song writing and performances have a truly unique and raw style that’s been described as “simply mind blowing” Fryers' latest release 'One Hand To The Gods' is out at midnight! The track serves as the poignant first offering from his highly anticipated upcoming studio album, 'That Was Then', slated for arrival later this year.

This was me yesterday.
But not because my fake robotic head had malfunctioned whilst trying to sneak through security on Mars........like Arnie.
But because I realised MY FECKING ALBUM IS OUT IN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!! 😳
Well its less than 2 weeks now cause that was yesterday. And it's now today. Which yesterday, was tomorrow. 🤔
Anyway in other news I learnt a song that I already knew. I'd forgotten it though so I had to learn it again. Helps that I wrote it!
Oh and Morrisons sold me milk that tasted like washing up liquid so they will soon be having issues with where to put their rubbish! ☠️

Sometimes the thoughts just need somewhere to go and this is just that.

This song is really personal to me. It's basically a diary of my struggles with depression and ptsd and I'm hoping some of you may connect with it cause otherwise I exposed myself for no reason lol
