Aaron Morgan Photography Photography - Fine Art Nature Prints I am a roadside photographer. I get an itch to shoot, mostly at sunrise or sunset. I get in my truck and chase down the sun.

Most of my work is in western North Carolina, surrounded by the southern Appalachian Mountains. I was born and raised there. Most of my family ties are there. When I say "roadside," more often than not that includes the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Cherohala Skyway, several national forests and wilderness areas, lakes, dams, rivers and streams. But I live in west Georgia, a 35 minute drive from downtown Atlanta. I'm far enough out that when I find a well-worn two lane road, there is a good chance there is a pasture with a barn or run-down house, complete with sunrise or sunset for a backdrop. I'm also doing more and more work in the city. That's my story today. Tomorrow might be different.
