I get asked about this pen ALL the time, so here it is 👇

This sign was made with the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen — I used both the big and small brush tips to get that mix of thick and thin lines. It's one of my favorite tools for lettering on wood.

"I can't do cursive; there's no way I could hand letter."

Friend, I hear this ALL the time. But nobody starts out good at it. Not me, not the artists you follow, not anyone.

Everyone has to start somewhere.

Hand lettering is a skill. It's built by practice.

The more you practice, the better you'll be.

And just like learning anything else, you'll mess up along the way.

Those mess-ups just get you closer to where you want to be 😊

Today I taught a class inside the Happy Lettering Club using the Procreate app on the iPad. We made this adorable fall graphic. Knowing how to use the Procreate app opens so many doors for creating. I took my design, printed it out and popped it in a frame. Instant home decor!

I love my frame from too. They make it so simple to switch out and store pictures.
