Sometimes I have to stop and appreciate how crazy this journey has become.

A little over a year ago, we were just trying to figure out how to sell a few 3D prints. Today, I get to walk into a store filled with printers, filament, giant projects, custom orders, and some of the coolest customers anyone could ask for.

Yesterday we finished putting together Mario before he headed off to make his debut at the Lacey market. He should be back in the store today, and I have to admit, seeing him standing there next to everything else we've created put a smile on my face.

Mario took a little over three days to print and was made entirely on our Elegoo Centauri Carbon using Ambrosia filament. The Centauri Carbon isn't the fastest machine in my lineup—not when it's competing against the H2S, H2C, and an army of Bambu printers—but it's a dependable workhorse that keeps getting the job done.

And honestly? I think Mario turned out pretty amazing.

Looking around this picture, I see a giant Mario, a TIE Fighter, masks, signs, props, filament, awards, and dozens of projects that started as someone's idea and became something real. That's the part of this business I love most.

So thank you.

Thank you to everyone who shops with us, follows our page, stops by the store, brings us crazy ideas, shares our posts, or simply supports what we do. Because of you, I get to spend my days bringing fun, ridiculous, nostalgic, and epic creations to life.

Not many people get to say they genuinely enjoy going to work every day. I do.

And that's because of all of you.

Thank you from all of us at 4M3D Printing.

Now let's see what crazy thing comes off the printers next.

Well, I guess this one was a little more popular than I expected!

With America's 250th Birthday coming up next year, I've been working on adding some patriotic pieces to our display. This lightbox was one of the first ones I printed, and honestly, it turned out even better than I expected.

What made it even more fitting was that we brought it to the SWAE Night Market during Military Appreciation Day. Between the patriotic theme, the lights, and the overall design, this thing absolutely popped from across the market.

Apparently I wasn't the only one who thought it looked amazing.

This lightbox sold in less than 10 minutes after we set it out. Someone saw it, loved it, and took it home before most people even had a chance to walk through the market!

So yes, we'll definitely be printing more of these.

Printed 100% with Ambrosia filament on our Bambu A1, this is just the beginning of what we're planning for America's 250th Birthday celebration. We're slowly building a larger Bicentennial display, and if this reaction is any indication, it's going to be a lot of fun.

Keep an eye out for more patriotic prints, lightboxes, and display pieces coming soon from 4M3D Printing.

Sometimes the universe just lines things up.

I had been scrolling through He-Man-inspired prints online and thinking, "Okay, that's ridiculous... I kind of need to print one of those."

The very next day, one of our regular customers walked into 4M3D and said, "Can you make me this?"

Challenge accepted.

Now, there are definitely lower-detail versions out there, but this customer wanted something worthy of wearing to the Masters of the Universe premiere. If we were going to do it, we were going to do it right.

This version took over 42 hours to print on our H2S and is packed with detail. Honestly, I'm not even sure you could print it this size on a lot of smaller printers without cutting it into multiple pieces.

The funny part? I didn't have nearly as much yellow PLA on hand as I thought I did, but I had plenty of yellow ASA. So this thing ended up being printed in ASA with 3 walls and 15% infill. In other words, this thing is built like a tank.

If Battle Cat pulled up outside right now, I'd feel pretty comfortable wearing this as a helmet while charging into battle.

The customer will be rocking this at the movie premiere, and we've already got another He-Man-inspired project in the works.

Sometimes having a display piece out pays off BIG. 🔥

One of our repeat customers walked by our FULL-SIZE Titan 3D TIE Fighter display up at the JBLM Fort Lewis Exchange and immediately decided it was something they had to have.

The full 100% scale version was just a little too massive for the space they had available, but they still wanted something that would make a statement… so they special ordered this incredible 75% scale version instead.

And honestly? Even at 75%, this thing is still HUGE. 👀

Titan 3D absolutely nailed this model too. NO glue required whatsoever — everything locks together beautifully with amazing detail throughout the entire build.

Printed in Ambrosia Super Gray, which once again printed like butter and gave this TIE Fighter an incredibly smooth, clean finish.

We’ve been seriously excited about these Titan 3D projects lately, and the next couple prints coming off the machines should absolutely blow your mind.

Thanks again for all the continued support of 4M3D Printing in Historic Downtown Longview, Washington!

🐆❄️ Fresh off the printers overnight at 4M3D Printing!

First up, this adorable little snow leopard cub turned out ridiculously cute. The icy blue eyes, little toe beans, and snowy spots came out amazing on this print. Definitely one of those “pick it up the second you see it” kind of prints.

And for the music fans… 🖤
We also printed some Sleep Token-inspired minis!

For anyone not familiar, Sleep Token is the masked rock/metal band that mixes heavy music with emotional storytelling and a dark mysterious aesthetic. Their lead singer “Vessel” performs hidden behind the iconic glowing mask, and their fanbase has exploded recently online.

So of course somebody made Sleep Token ducks… and honestly they came out awesome. 😂

All printed right here in Historic Downtown Longview, Washington on our Bambu printers!

Fresh off the printer! 🤖🔥

This beast is from the latest drop by — and honestly it gives off serious ED-209 vibes from RoboCop. You know… the robot that looked at everyone in the room and basically said “I will absolutely ruin your day.” 😂

Printed in Ambrosia Camo Green and Ambrosia Black on one of our hardest working machines — our Bambu Lab A1 with OVER 9,570 hours on it and it’s still pumping out prints like a champ.

Best part? This entire model screws together — NO GLUE. Which is great news for people like me who somehow manage to glue fingerprints, tables, shirts, and occasionally ourselves together instead of the actual print. 😅

Huge shoutout to STLFlix for another killer design and to Ambrosia filament for making this thing look absolutely mean straight off the plate.

And yes… before this one even finished, I already had something from the NEXT STLFlix drop printing. They’re dropping designs faster than my printers can cool down. 😂

🚨 NEW BAMBU STUDIO FEATURE ALERT 🚨

Bambu Studio now lets you MIX FILAMENT COLORS to create completely custom blends — and honestly, this changes the game for 3D printing. 🤯

We’re one of the first shops around here experimenting with it, and we wanted to show you guys what’s possible when you stop thinking inside the normal “one spool = one color” mindset.

Instead of printing the exact same dragons, helmets, and fidgets everyone else is making… we can now create our OWN colors and custom shades directly in the slicer.

This blend started as two totally different filaments and turned into an entirely new custom color mix that looks incredible in person. And this is just the beginning.

Imagine: 🔥 Sunset fades
🔥 Metallic blends
🔥 Team color mixes
🔥 Alien/neon combinations
🔥 Totally unique one-off prints nobody else has

Yeah, it takes a little experimenting… But the coolest prints usually do. 😎

Now we wanna see what YOU guys come up with. If you try the new filament mixing feature, post your results below and show off your custom colors!

The possibilities just became endless.

🇺🇸🦅 PRINT OF THE DAY 🦅🇺🇸

The overnight printers were hard at work again here at 4M3D Printing in Historic Downtown Longview, WA — and today’s print is our take on the duck craze… except we went full eagle for America’s 250th anniversary. 🇺🇸

Printed on one of our Bambu A1s using a mix of Ambrosia filament and Bambu Silk+, this little guy turned out CLEAN. The metallic red, white, and blue came out amazing, and honestly the silver beak looks pretty slick… but the next batch may be getting GOLD beaks. 👀

One thing about 3D printing — there’s always another version to experiment with.

What do you guys think: Silver beak or gold beak? 🦅✨
