All our studio classes will meet today as scheduled. We are aware that driving conditions vary in the area, so please use your best judgement. We fully understand if you elect to miss due to the weather and driving conditions, but we hope to see many of you this evening. Drive safe, walk safe!!

The City of Charles Town continues to do a good job clearing the streets. The parking area behind the Old Opera House is cleared nicely.

Due to the forecasted snowstorm, we are going to reverse our normal class cancellation policy (shown below for future reference). All Monday classes are canceled. If the snowstorm is much lighter than projected, and we can have classes as scheduled, we will let everyone know by 1:30pm on Monday. But with the projections we are seeing, that seems unlikely. Hopefully our local snow removal operations will have everyone back in the studio on Tuesday.

Our regular policy … Inclement Weather: If Jefferson County schools are closed due to inclement weather, daytime classes (Homeschool) will be canceled. For classes that meet at 3:00 p.m. or later, a decision on cancellation will be made by 1:30 p.m. For Saturday morning classes, a decision will be made by 9:00 a.m. If we feel that most dancers and our instructors can make it safely to and from the OOH, we will hold classes. If it begins to snow in the late afternoon, evening classes may be canceled if it is felt that the road conditions would worsen before dismissal time. Road conditions can vary dramatically in various parts of the county. Parents should always use their best judgment regarding driving in inclement weather. We will notify families of our decision by email and on our Studio page.
