Framing makes all the difference! I’m often asked how much a frame changes the look of a piece of art. Here is the same print displayed in two different frame colors. It’s amazing how the frame can either highlight the natural tones in the image or provide a striking contrast.

Exciting news!

I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be back at the Public Library for Union County this year! I’ll be displaying a collection of my framing work in their display cases from June 1st through June 30th.

Looking back at last year’s setup (pictured here), I’m already planning this year’s display to showcase even more of the projects I’ve been working on. Whether you’re interested in framing family heirlooms, local history, or your own artwork, this will be a great chance to see the quality of my work in person.

I took a trip up to R.B. Winter State Park recently and couldn't pass up this view.

Most people head for the water, but I was struck by this milkweed along the road. It reminded me of the framing process—a rugged, protective exterior housing something delicate and beautiful inside. Nature really is the original artist!

I’m curious: When you’re in the mountains, do you look for the "big views" or the little details like this?

Some pictures just have a way of staying with us. This sweet image is by Berta Hummel, a famous artist and nun from the 1930s who loved capturing the innocence of childhood.

To me, this represents protection and companionship—just a girl, her umbrella, and her pup weathering the storm together.

As a framer, I love how a simple piece of art can hold so much nostalgia. It’s timeless!

Good morning! It’s "You, Me and Art Makes Three" time. 🎨

Some pictures just have a way of sticking around, don't they? This one has been a favorite for a long time, and it’s easy to see why. There’s something so sweet about the way she’s protecting her little pup from the rain.

As an artist and framer, I love how "old" art like this can still make us feel something today. It’s timeless.
