Well Happy National Leathercraft Day!!! Celebrated on August 15th to honor the artistry, skill, and heritage of leathercrafting. It was created by Tandy Leather in 2018 to recognize leatherworkers and encourage people to become interested in the craft. The Registrar at National Day Calendar proclaimed that National Leathercraft Day will be observed annually on August 15th.
On National Leathercraft Day, people can appreciate leatherwork in their surroundings, such as clothing and upholstery, and notice the details like stitching and burnished edges. They can also use the hashtag to share on social media.
