Corto e Fieno 2026 - Call for Films 🌱📽️

Sono aperte le iscrizioni per l’edizione 2026 di Corto e Fieno, festival internazionale di cortometraggi.

Il concorso è aperto a tutti i registi e registe di cortometraggi di qualsiasi genere inerenti alla vita e al lavoro della campagna, e, genericamente, al rapporto tra natura e uomo in ambito rurale.

La durata massima è di 30 minuti e l’opera deve essere stata realizzata dal 2024 in avanti

Film submissions are now open for the 2026 edition of Corto e Fieno, the international short film festival.

The competition is open to all directors of short films of all genres related to life and work in the countryside and, more generally, to the relationship between nature and man in rural areas.

The maximum duration is 30 minutes and the work must have been made from 2024 onwards.

In questa edizione il premio è realizzato a mano dallo scultore Valerio Tedeschi: un oggetto unico, nato dall’incontro tra arte e materia, capace di racchiudere lo spirito del festival e il suo legame con la natura, la terra e chi la racconta. Quest’opera rappresenta non solo un riconoscimento ai registi premiati, ma anche un simbolo di continuità e di connessione tra il mondo artistico e quello rurale.

Pensiamo spesso al mondo rurale in maniera puramente concreta dimenticando che può essere anche un ponte verso l’altro, verso l’ignoto. Questo blocco ci porta non solo in altri tempi, ma anche in spazi lontani, dove riscoprire il nostro legame con la natura.

We often think of the rural world in a purely concrete way, forgetting that it can also be a bridge to the other, to the unknown.
This block takes us not only to different times, but also to distant places, where we can rediscover our bond with nature.

Da dove si è sviluppata l’umanità, se non dalla terra e dal suo rapporto con essa? Nel primo blocco di Frutteto troviamo storie di scoperta, ritorno e rinascita che ci ricordano quanto il rapporto con il suolo sia ancora oggi fondamentale per noi.

On Saturday, October 11 at 6:30 pm, the first block of the Frutteto section kicks off: international shorts exploring the ties between humans, land, and nature.

Where did humanity develop from, if not from the earth and our relationship with it?
In the first block of Frutteto we find stories of discovery, return, and rebirth that remind us how our bond with the soil is still essential for us today.
