Wall Space Gallery is proud to present Jordan Craig’s solo exhibition “The Blue Profound”

Based in Ottawa and born in St. John’s, Newfoundland Craig comes from a family of artists and painters that have shaped his passion for visual arts. Working in traditional oils, Craig views his practice as a way to explore natures forces and carry forward a deeply rooted family legacy.

In this new body of work Craig creates atmospheric and compelling visuals of skies and landscapes stating: “I try to evoke the actual feeling of an approaching storm—the charged smell of the air, that quick shiver of excitement, even though you know the weather’s about to turn rough.”

The exhibition will be on from June 25 - July 4, and we invite you to please join us for the vernissage on Thursday June 25th, 5:00 - 7:00pm.

Eryn O’Neill’s solo exhibition ‘Visualizing Urban Transformation’ is on display now!

In this body of work O’Neill’ explores construction sites, detours, and shifting neighbourhoods within Ottawa. With close observation she preserves the marks left by exposure, labour, and continual use. Removing the obstructive objects from the movement and noise of the street, these materials begin to feel almost sculptural, revealing patterns and relationships that are easy to miss in our everyday life.

Some details and behind the scenes set up for Stewart Jones’ solo exhibition ‘And Then, It’s Now’

This new body of work by Jones explores scenic observations that are gathered overtime and carried forward through memory. While daily life increasingly moves at a relentless pace, his work returns to the simple act of looking: at places passed through, fleeting moments, and the impressions they leave behind. His paintings become a way of staying with those experiences a little longer.

A big thank you to all who attended the vernissage this past weekend! A joyous turnout met with lots of smiles and good conversation.

On display now two solo bodies of work from artists Eryn O’Neill and Stewart Jones. The exhibitions will be on view until June 20th, come view it in person and immerse yourself in its captivating exploration of the urban landscape.

Wall Space Gallery proudly presents Sharon Kelly: A Life in Colour

This exhibition will be showcasing the paintings of the late Sharon Kelly, a highly esteemed Ottawa artist. In addition, the show will be featuring works from artists Heidi Conrod, Christopher Griffin, and Vickie Marsango. Proceeds will be donated to May Court Hospice, where Sharon received compassionate care at the end of her life.

We hope that you please join us for the vernissage, celebrating Sharon and her friends’ lasting impact on the Ottawa arts community through an evening of live music, refreshments, flowers, and shared remembrance.

Wall Space Gallery is proud to present Stewart Jones’ upcoming show “And Then It’s Now”

A whole new body of work, rich with colour and texture. Based in Prince Edward County, ON, Jones’ explores the relationships of light and shadows within urban environments, depicting quiet scenes that are often overlooked. “Taking pause to stop and look, to feel and experience the moment at hand,” Jones’ speaks of his process. We hope that you join us for the vernissage on Saturday June 6th, 3:00 - 5:00pm.
