Just an FYI if you're in the Denver area. I plan on attending The Great American Guitar Build Off, 2026 in Denver tomorrow July 12th. I'm only attending as a spectator but if you want to come by, its going to be fun. I'll be there sometime around noon for a couple hours.

I think its too late to officially enter the contest but the address and details are in the link below. You can still attend as a spectator.

Step up your guitar game by joining the 2026 Great American Guitar Build Off with your friends at Texas Toast Guitars! The only rule this year was that the guitars had to be some kind of Telecaster. this electrifying guitar building contest gives you a shot to win a fat stack of cash and amazing pri...

Since its graduation season and many students will be going off to school in the fall, I thought it might be fun to assemble a small Dorm Room Toolkit. Something that a student could have in the dorm room to tackle small things. This wouldn't be a specific woodworking, or auto repair toolkit, but something just for dorm life.

If you've spent time in a dorm room, what tools would be handy to have on hand? Would you store them in a small toolbox, zipper pouch or something else? The whole toolkit needs to be compact as well. I'll likely make a video around this topic.

Leave your ideas in the comments.

Looking back on some older videos and thought I'd try to share some of them. Its hard to believe we made this bench 10 years ago. This was a fun project that's still getting use.

This was kind of nice to wake up to this morning. Finally a little bit of winter in Colorado. Time to do a little shoveling then back to 3D modeling the next guitar build. I hope you all have a great day.

Today I'm making a cool, one of a kind hoof pick from an old door latch. This project has it all, hand forging metal, flamed maple, and dont forget sanding. Even if you don't need to make a hoof pick, I hope this project inspires you to try to repurpose some things around your shop or home. What may look like scrap material might just be able to be made into something awesome.
