Built and funded by the Community for our Community. RiverStage is a multi-purpose Entertainment S**c Together, look what we can achieve.

Your community groups worked together to build and open this stage in 2020. Many thanks to The Rotary Club of Taree on Manning, The Lions Club, The Rotary Club of Taree. We worked with a grant from MidCoast Council from the State Government and local business groups including NSW Forestry, Stone’s Oysters, Nigel Young Builders, Artists, Russell Saunders and Josh Wood, Machin’s Sawmill, Neil Ryan D

rafting, Chris Van- Brown from RPE Engineering Services, Lee Black from Burnished Projects, Coastal Crane Service and others. There was additional funding from local businesses and members of our community.

What a night to attend.

Cleanup efforts started immediately after the flood event at the Waterfront Storage area, a severely affected site. Rotary members Terry, Richard, and Libby, along with five SES volunteers and local youth Bailey Pocock, worked together to remove flood-damaged items. Though much was lost, their work marked an important step toward recovery. While thick mud still covers parts of the site and some items remain
buried, progress continues.
The wider Rotary network has
been an incredible source of
support. The Rotary Club of
Wahroonga, led by President
Sallianne Mclellan, has been a major supporter of our Flood Relief Appeal. Sallianne quickly launched a GoFundMe page, raising nearly $10,000 within days of the disaster.
Additionally, Wahroonga launched the ‘Unite for Good - Unite for Taree’ project, preparing relief boxes for distribution in late August. We are grateful for their generosity and look forward to welcoming Sallianne and her team to Taree under much drier conditions.

The Rotary Club of Taree on Manning have been busy working behind the scenes. $500 vouchers for fuel have been distributed to dairy farmers. $500 debit cards distributed to impacted families. $20,000 of hay organised for animal feed. Uniting for good. Together we can assist each other. Thanks to many including the Rotary Club of Sydney, the Rotary Club of Bendigo Sandhurst, Rotary Action World Community Service RACWS.

Yesterday the first of the Aussie Hay Runners trucks left Denman bound for Taree arriving and unloading last night. Trucks have already returned, reloaded and will arrive back in Taree later today
Once again, a massive thank you to Steven Carter, the Denman Lions Club and the generous farming communities in the Upper Hunter for donating this wonderful hay

it was a Happy New Year's eve on the manning river bank last night !

🙏Thank you to the combined services club of Taree LIONS Club, Manning River Lions Club, Rotary Club of Taree On Manning, Rotary Club of Taree, Taree Quota Club Inc. collaborating with MidCoast Council and many other supporters to make the night such a celebration !

🥳Music from The Trapps and Paper Daisies and MC Cr Jeremy Miller kept everyone entertained!

Huge thanks to all the groups that made the Carols and Christmas Markets 🌲🌟🌲 possible last night !
this includes the Taree LIONS Club for the summer fest markets and Rotary Club of Taree On Manning for coordinating the carols on stage and huge thanks to the Incredible singers and BIG thanks to the Taree Baptist Church Band for the incredible music. The wonderful MC was Anthony Zanos who did a fine job along with Chris Tippett and Luke Bottomly on sound , it was just such a splendid night and wonderful to be part of!
