Quetzalcoatlus ( the giant flying reptile ) was a flesh-eating “fighter jet” of the skies
with a wingspan as wide as a house,
and a beak powerful enough to swallow a child in a single snap.
Quetzalcoatlus was one of the largest flying creatures to ever exist on Earth.

It lived during the late Cretaceous period, around 68 to 66 million years ago—
just before the age of dinosaurs came to an end.

Its wingspan was truly staggering.
When fully extended, it could reach up to 10 to 12 meters—
roughly comparable to the wingspan of an F-16 Fighting Falcon.
Its anatomy was just as remarkable.

It had an extremely long, rigid neck,
and a sharp, spear-like beak built for striking prey.

Despite its massive size, its bones were hollow—
a crucial adaptation that reduced weight
and made flight possible.
