This artwork is used in the packaging, bringing this visual story into the final presentation of the project.

This project brought together so much of what I love about making art: storytelling, discovery, craftsmanship, and the challenge of translating an extraordinary journey into something tangible.

Honored and proud to collaborate with The Macallan on “Stars Below” for their Carta Nautica Collection.

Inspired by the journey of The Macallan’s oak staves and casks across the Atlantic Ocean, we created a visual world shaped by movement, discovery, and transformation—a mythical voyage brought to life through material, form, and imagination.

The creation of this piece echoed the journey of the casks themselves. It required time, travel, collaboration, and exploration to transform complex ideas into a richly layered visual world.

The artwork is used in the packaging, bringing this visual story into the final presentation of the project.

This project brought together so much of what I love about making art: storytelling, discovery, craftsmanship, and the challenge of translating an extraordinary journey into something tangible.

Collaborating with The Macallan has been a true highlight of my career, and I’m incredibly proud to finally share “Stars Below”.

Throwing pieces at the wall to see if anything sticks. This is my favorite part of the process.

I’ve fallen out of the habit of posting my process and have been posting mostly fancy stuff. But the mess is what makes me skip to work in the morning. So here’s to posting the pieces and parts that seem to make no sense but eventually make all the sense!

These piles of paper will lead to a piece composed of 5 large circles. It will be hung in a new hotel lobby in Florida.
