Responders were seen breaking the cockpit window to rescue the occupants.

🥲Last flight : Eight people, including two Boeing employees, have been killed after a US Air Force B-52 bomber crashed immediately after take-off from Edwards Air Force Base in southern California.

The incident occurred at 11:20 local time (19:20 GMT) on Monday while the aircraft had been on a routine test mission. The crash sent a huge plume of black smoke into the air that could be seen for miles.

U.S. B-52 Stratofortress strategic bomber crashed immediately after take-off from Edwards Air Force Base in California.

Eight people aboard the B-52 bomber that crashed are believed to be dead, according to the Air Force.

“Initial indications are that the crash was not survivable,” the Edwards Air Force Base, north of Los Angeles, posted on social media.

On Tuesday, 29th April, 2025 American Airlines crew members were forever to knock down a female passenger who tried to barge into the cockpit just before takeoff to New York.

Footage from inside the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner showed the crew struggling to close the cockpit door in a scuffle with the smartly dressed passenger while the plane was taxiing at Sao Paulo airport in Brazil.

In the scuffle, the crew member knocked the woman to the floor before another staffer helped restrain her.

She was then ushered back to a seat in first class — as another passenger jumped to his feet and started shouting furiously at her, prompting cabin crew to step in and calm him down.

American Airlines confirmed in a statement that the flight “returned to the boarding gate prior to departure due to a safety problem on board.”

The cockpit of an aircraft is a highly restricted and sensitive area designated to ensure safety and security of any flight at all times. Access is only to authorized personnel only and people should not try to force their way into it.

A 21-year-old woman died this Saturday morning (13) during a rope jumping activity in Limeira, in the interior of São Paulo.

According to one witness, employees of the company responsible had forgotten to fasten the participant's safety ropes before the jump on the Skeleton Bridge.

According to the Secretariat of Public Security of São Paulo (SSP-SP), teams from the Military Police, Fire Brigade and Samu were activated around 9:55am. The death was confirmed at the scene.

A firefighting helicopter in France crashed dramatically into a lake on Sunday evening while attempting to scoop up water to battle a wildfire. Remarkably, both the pilot and the firefighting officer on board survived the crash and were evacuated to a hospital with only minor injuries.

The incident occurred in the Finistère region, where crews were working to contain a blaze that had broken out nearby. According to local reports in Le Parisien, the helicopter was lowering toward the water to collect a load when it suddenly dipped too deep into the surface, lost balance, and flipped over into the lake.

Footage shared on social media shows the aircraft descending toward the water, dipping slightly, then abruptly losing stability as it attempted to rise again — before toppling over in a shocking scene.

Crashed during a low-altitude test flight : Zhonglian F-27 helicopter made a dramatic crash landing in Changzhou, China, leaving two injured.

The tail section of the helicopter built by Changzhou Zhonglian Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. in China, snapped, causing the aircraft to shake and spin violently and uncontrollably.

Let’s look back….

On Saturday 18th October, 2025 a fire breaks out in the overhead luggage bin on board an Air China flight CA139 which was flying between Hangzhou and Seoul.

It was later understood that the cause of the fire was a lithium battery in a passenger’s luggage spontaneously combusting.

The cabin crew however managed to contain the fire and the flight was safely diverted to Shanghai-Pudong Airport.
