If you like free stuff, come to the closing down clear out of Chaotic Social (256 Stanmore Road) this Wednesday 18 December, 5-8pm, and take anything you like.

This includes:
8 x trestle tables
45 x stackable chairs
2 x working iMacs
1 x large vintage yellow thing for rolling around bolts of fabric
A lot of very decorative decorations

No holds, first in best dressed

Hey Chaotic Fam,

Sadly, Chaotic Social is closing its doors. Massive thanks to everyone who showed up, laughed, made friends, and brought this space to life with me. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m grateful for every minute. 🧡

If you have a voucher you haven’t used yet, please email your voucher details to [email protected] so we can get that refunded.

Between the current state of the economy and a new job that’s pulled me to Melbourne, it’s time for me to step away.

But this doesn’t have to be the end! I’m running an expression of interest for anyone keen to take over the space (or start something new). If you’re curious, email me or reach out by Friday, 22 Nov. The rent’s insanely cheap, FYI.

And to the 25 heroes who painted our space that gloriously retina-burning orange: you’re legends. 🧡 I wish we could have one last party, but I’m stuck down south for the season.

Thank you all for the memories, the laughs, and for building not just a space, but a real community. If you have questions, or just want to say hey, hit me up—I’d love to hear from you.

Craft swap alert! 🚨 At next week’s Stitch and Complain we will have a bonus round of bring your crafting gear you don’t want and trade it for some you do!

To get us started I have literal mounds of yarn and fabric that needs to go.

Anything not chosen will be donated to so nothing goes to waste!

New conductor Jem Harding studied piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and has worked as an accompanist, repetiteur and choral director with a number of Australian music ensembles, including; Sydney Chamber Opera, Opera Australia, WAAPA, South Australian State Opera, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, Sydney Chamber Choir and Sydney Children’s Choir. He is a guest conductor and pianist at Gondwana National Choral School, choral adjudicator at the Australian International Music Festival and a recording artist with Eminence Artists (Australia) and CIA Artists (Japan).
