Testing a couple of things out and which side of the headphones the audio will play sound in...

After the brilliant return at last night I just had to have one of the random spook events in my next horror game pay homage to him in some way. So if you ever play this game when it is out and you come across this lantern then you'll know why!

(His laugh is just for the purpose of this quick test as obviously I will be removing it for the actual game because A: it isn't my voice and B: I dont want Triple H pedigreeing me with a lawsuit🤣)

Started working on a new game mode for Ham Slam based on the classic Tony Hawks mode: Graffiti!

This idea has been on the back burner for a few years now but after showcasing Ham Slam on Friday at the Ember Expo and talking to people about future ideas, Graffiti mode was well received and encouraged to develop, so here it is!

Note this was only about 3 hours work so is not completely finished yet. Still got some game balancing to do and I am not sold on the idea of knocking them off the table yet but it is a good start!

Honestly can't wait for people to play this and see the deterioration of the level over time (plus all the other effects I have kept secret👀) during play.

And then experience the scares on top.....

Testing out a random event to see if the way of getting the players attention works well.

There's going to be a lot of these kind of events, ranging from small occurrences to some nice big scares, throughout the game and will be randomised for every playthrough!

I wanted something extra for when a goal is scored so I implemented a slow motion effect!

I had an idea that over the course of the game, the environment will slowly change from a clean, new building to a dirty, grime filled damaged environment over subsequent completed loops.

The build up effect here is sped up for brevity's sake. In game it will be much more subtle.

I thought it would be really cool to have a working clock in game that syncs in real time to the users computer!

One of the possible events during a playthrough is a power cut and I created a fuse box which needs some player input to get the power back on!

After all, you don't want to be in the dark all game do you?...

As someone who has benefitted massively from Andy's Man Club, I felt it only right to raise some awareness in my game!

Maintaining good mental health is massively important to our life and the work that AMC do in bringing Men together who need those 2 hours on a Monday evening (7-9pm) to get off their chest and out of their head whatever they need to is amazing. Take it from me,
