What remains when time moves on?

A sphere of light rests in a landscape of sand, within the walls of a former sacred space. Outside, the world continues. Inside, time seems to stand still.

A moment suspended between what was, what is, and what will disappear.

NORTHERN LIGHTS

What if wastewater pipes carried the Northern Lights?

Northern Lights transforms ordinary wastewater pipes into a source of something unexpected: light.

Instead of carrying water and waste away, the pipes release luminous colour into the surrounding space. From an industrial material associated with drainage and discharge emerges one of nature’s most beautiful phenomena — the aurora borealis.
