Another walk in my neighborhood. There’s always so many beautiful things every time I go for a walk but today I focused on these cute flowers poking through an old fence. 🌸 I used gouache for this one ! Let me know what you think. 💕

My 6 year old student loves spooky things, so I thought to show her a value project ! She learned to paint the values from white to black using red to make a spooky landscape! That cone head creature on the rock gives me the creeps, in a good way 😂
This is the skill building a I do to help kids paint more realistic when that is their goal!

My public comment on September 8, 2026. Ms. Cigarroa did speak to me personally in the hallway after I left to explain the lack of our park in Ponderosa Hills (forgot to mention name in my comment). It cleared things up for me but It still doesn’t change the fact that I don’t want increased police presence or flock cameras, and certainly not to foot the bill to renew the contract. I am in the middle of writing her an email so I won’t say too much about what she told me yet. But tbh disappointed she sounds like she isn’t listening to the legal and ethical drawbacks of these cameras.
