Hey there, friends...it's been a while! I just finished this piece that will be awarded as a prize for our local library's adult summer reading program. I. Love. Giant. Art. 🤩

I received a message asking me to create a piece for a gift for her daughter's birthday. She showed me which of my pieces her daughter had been eyeing, gave me dimensions and colors, and this is the result! I never make two pieces exactly alike, but used the original (photo in comments) as inspiration. Tomorrow is her birthday, but she already received her gift, so i felt safe posting 😁. Whoever you may be, I hope you have the best birthday and that you love this as much as I do! 🥳

Update - claimed! ❤️

Whoa, there, friends. I realized I never posted this beauty. I typically wait to post until the piece has been delivered to its new home, but this one was never claimed. It's the largest wall piece I have created so far.

🔸️ 64" stick
🔸 ️3 feet tall from stick to bottom of fringe.
🔸️ Complete height is 4 feet tall if you include the hanger.

A friend asked me to create Christmas gifts for her staff at work. She gave a brief description of each of her ladies and their office colors and let me decide the rest. Here are her words:

"(Lady A) is animal print everything. Over the top.
(Lady C) is colorful. Muted greens and pinks. All mom all day.
(Lady J) is white and greys. Loves plants greens. Earthy."

Hi, friends! Checking in after an artistic drought. It happens, and I refuse to punish myself for it. I started this piece in May, and it hung in my space for two months while I stared at the lonely cords and just couldn't make my fingers move to knot them into something interesting. Then...it came back. I chose the colors to compliment the pictures that my friend sent to me of her office. I turned my music up loud and danced while I designed. Then, after I finished, I met up with her for a dirty hand-off on a street corner and had a blast catching up. 🤣 I'm back now and creating for the Republic Street Fair on August 6, then Fall at the Farmhouse in September! Thanks for being patient, Shauna!
