Last week we closed the doors of Manamea Art Studio & Gallery.
The voices in the background are the artists themselves, singing together one last time.
We packed the paintings, emptied the workshop, cleaned the walls, and for the final time, we worked together in this space.
What began in 2014 as two artists building something from almost nothing became a whole team of artists, a studio, a gallery, a tattoo space, a workplace, a meeting place, and a second home for many people over the years.
Thank you to everyone who collected our work, visited the gallery, got tattooed, supported the artists, shared our posts, or simply walked through the doors.
The building is closed.
But the artists continue on — now working independently in their own studios across Samoa.
