HCMC Theatre Practitioners
Sharpen your physical storytelling in one powerful day at Imaginarium Conservatory.
On 18 April, join Naima Thompson and James Hadley for two back-to-back intensives designed to build bold, embodied performers:
🕙 10:00–11:30 – Basel Mask
Explore Lecoq-inspired Basel (larval) masks to discover presence, gesture, and playful non-verbal improvisation. Working in silence and behind the mask, you’ll learn to communicate clearly with your body and imagination.
🍽️ 11:30–1:00 – Lunch Break
🕐 1:00–2:30 – Stage Combat
Learn the foundations of safe, convincing stage combat: clear safety principles, partner awareness, and simple fight phrases that put technique into context. This session focuses on trust, precision, and the illusion of impact—not brute force.
This mini-conservatory day is ideal for actors, educators, and performers who want to deepen their craft through physical theatre training.
