My mechanic accidentally left this in my car and now they want it back. 🤔🔧
The shop called my wife and asked if we could return a tool that was left behind after the service.
At first glance, it looks like some kind of bent pick or hook, but I have no idea what it's actually used for.

Can someone explain what I'm looking at? 😳
For months now, this pipe outside a building has occasionally been discharging murky water that smells absolutely awful. It seems to happen randomly, and I'm starting to wonder where it's coming from.
Sewage backup? Groundwater? Building drainage? What could possibly be causing this?

Found this in a lobster crate and nobody can figure out what it is. 😳
It wasn't attached to a lobster and seems to be some kind of bycatch or foreign object. My first thought was that it might be a piece of bait, but we find bait scraps in shipments all the time and this doesn't look like anything we've seen before.
I've been working with lobsters for nearly 10 years, and most of my coworkers have 5–10+ years of experience as well. None of us has ever come across anything like this.
A few details:
It's closed at the end, not a hollow tube.
It feels soft and chewy, almost like meat.
The white "teeth-like" structures aren't hard at all; they're soft.
The opposite side is firm and fleshy.
At this point, figuring it out won't change anything, but it's driving me crazy not knowing what it is. Does anyone recognize this thing?

I own two vehicles. One is my daily work vehicle, and the other mostly sits unless I need a backup or have a reason to use it.
Last week, my girlfriend's brother was having problems with his car, so I let him borrow my spare vehicle. Today he returned it, and this is the condition he gave it back in.
My girlfriend told me not to worry because she'd help clean it up. Well, a week has gone by, and it still looks exactly the same.
Maybe I'm overreacting, but if someone lends me their vehicle, I try to return it in at least the same condition I received it. Am I being unreasonable for being annoyed about this, or would you be upset too?

I was cleaning my bedroom today and found this hiding under my bed. It looks like some kind of egg cluster, but I have absolutely no idea what it could belong to. 💀
