Blue… organ-looking thing… found out in the backyard. What the actual hell is this?? 😭
The weird tail-like part felt fleshy, which somehow made the whole experience way worse.
I poked the blue ball and it had this bizarre styrofoam-like texture… and somehow it was even more blue inside.
I genuinely can’t tell if I found a fungus, plant, alien egg, abandoned science project, or something I absolutely should’ve left alone.
Does anyone know what I just discovered??

It has the words “this side towards scalp” written on it, which somehow only makes it MORE confusing.

My cats keep bringing these weird things into the house and I have absolutely no idea what they are 😭
Sometimes they’re tiny like this, other times they’re as big as my thumb. I usually find them in the kitchen by the cat flap in the morning, sometimes with little red smears nearby, so I’m pretty sure the cats are bringing them in from outside.
The strangest part is they look weirdly half plant, half creature… sometimes even greenish. The cats just sniff them for a second and then completely lose interest.
What the hell even are these things??
