Insurgency: Sandstorm -Infos - Facts - News - Expected Release Date
Insurgency: Sandstorm is the sequel to Insurgency that is bringing renowned hardcore shooter gameplay to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam next year
Therefore should be the first game that brings the vision of acctual modern warfare in form of improved and topnotch graphics and engine to your screen.
Started as an Indie Game Product it Insurgency will be revived in a form that will definitly outplay it's ancessors with imersive gameplay, features and graphics
The scene set in a darker reality, taking place in the happening of Iraq War.
Sandstorm will contain some exciting new features such as a new story mode and eSports framework.
The game is being built from the ground up with competitive multiplayer, console split-screen, and singleplayer mode in mind.
The story mode will focus on a squad of characters as they face increasingly challenging chapters, from the invasion of Iraq
in 2003 through the insurrection period and leading to the present day.
Playable Characters will vary between Special forces, Guerillia Fighters. Not to forget including some Female Mercenaries.
Additional features confirmed at this time are:
>> Expanded environment scale.
>> Light vehicles for transportation and fire support.
>> New game modes designed for vehicle gameplay.
>> Competitive matchmaking, anti-cheat, and rankings system.
>> Improved ballistics system including bullet drop and travel time.
>> Interacting with the environment by climbing ladders and door breaching.
Giving all clear reason and factors for taking you away from reality and losing yourself in battlefield for impressive worthwhile hours of HC gaming.
Based on the Unreal 4 Engine, Firestorm is set to release early 2018 with an (closed) alpha going down at the end of 2017.
