Open Studio Red Arrow presents the first gallery showing of 周珂 [ZhouKe], a new solo exhibition by Fred Farrow.

周珂 [ZhouKe] is presented as a single sculpture unfolding across objects, images, and networks. The exhibition examines how identity stabilizes through repetition, circulation, and shared belief. Each instance operates as part of a larger structure in which meaning emerges through relation rather than containment.
Fred Farrow (b.1987) is a visual artist working across painting, sculpture, and spatial practices.

This month, ARTCaffè doubles up and returns on Saturday, February 28, with Fred Farrow. This will be the first event in the Year of the Horse and also the first in 2026 scheduled at a time suitable for those living in Europe and Africa — on that side of the world that is usually still asleep while we enjoy ARTCaffè in Asia’s morning hours.

This talk explores how meaning, identity, and myth is formed when art exists through encounter rather than containment.
Beginning with Fred Farrow’s broader practice of working through (fragmented) world-building, the talk introduces 周珂 [ZhouKe] as an ongoing experiment in contemporary myth-making.
ZhouKe asks what sculpture becomes when it no longer resides in a single object, but unfolds across images, networks, and collective imagination.  

The in-person gathering will start at 4:30 p.m. (Seoul time).
Registration is required, as seats are limited, and the address will be shared upon confirmation.

The talk will be live streamed.

Open Studio Red Arrow presents the first gallery showing of 周珂 [ZhouKe], a new solo exhibition by Fred Farrow.

Installed across two floors, 周珂 [ZhouKe] presents a single metaphysical sculpture distributed across objects, images, and networks.

周珂 [ZhouKe] functions as a structural figure through which questions of identity, visibility, and agency are examined under contemporary conditions of technological mediation and surveillance. The work persists through recognition and transmission, shaped by how it is seen, shared, and remembered.

Opening Night 18:30

Open Studio Red Arrow is a non-profit exhibition space dedicated to artistic exchange and visual storytelling in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Founded on the belief that ideas must be shared freely, the studio offers a platform for raw, unpolished expression and contemporary mythmaking.
