Our recent field trip gave the little explorers at Le Petit Musée a wonderful opportunity to observe and learn about rare rescued wildlife being cared for at the station.

🙏 Le Petit Musée extends our heartfelt thanks to WAR (Wildlife At Risk) and the Dau Tieng Wildlife Conservation Station for the warm welcome and for sharing such valuable knowledge with the children!

During our recent Birdwatching Outing Day, guided by Mr. Nguyen Truong Sinh - Wildlife Photographer, the children had the chance to observe rare wildlife, listen to fascinating stories about each species, and use professional binoculars and camera lenses to capture these incredible moments.

Deforestation and environmental shifts are pushing many of Vietnam’s rare species to the brink of extinction. To inspire the next generation to care for nature, Week 8: Guardians of the Wild (10/08 - 14/08) invites young explorers on an engaging conservation journey.

Throughout this week, children will explore the lives of endangered animals and speak directly with conservation experts. Going beyond theory, they will share their passion for nature through creative art projects, model-making, and hands-on STEM activities.

🐒 MEET A WILDLIFE CONSERVATION HERO! | Le Petit Musée x HiVOOC wildlife tourism for conservation

This summer, as part of Week 8: Guardians of the Wild, children will have a special opportunity to meet and interact with Mr. Bui Van Tuan (Tuan Ba Gau), Co-founder of HiVOOC, primate researcher and wildlife photographer.

During this inspiring session, the kids will set off on a journey to uncover the secrets of the "Queen of Primates", the 5-color Red-shanked Douc Langur in Son Tra, while learning how we safeguard the rare Grey-shanked Douc Langur in Tam My Tay.

They will also get to follow in the footsteps of a true field researcher through rare, vivid footage captured deep inside Vietnam's forests.

By hearing real-life stories about eco-tourism and conservation, the children will be empowered to love and protect nature in the most engaging and natural way.

Trong khuôn khổ Tuần 8, các em nhỏ sẽ có cơ hội giao lưu cùng anh Bùi Văn Tuấn (Tuấn Ba Gấu), Co-founder HiVOOC, nhà nghiên cứu linh trưởng kiêm nhiếp ảnh gia động vật hoang dã.

Buổi chia sẻ sẽ đưa các con vào hành trình khám phá bí mật của "Nữ hoàng linh trưởng" Voọc chà vá chân nâu tại Sơn Trà và tìm hiểu cách bảo vệ loài Voọc chà vá chân xám quý hiếm tại Tam Mỹ Tây.

Các bé còn được theo chân nhà nghiên cứu qua những thước phim thực địa quý giá quay sâu trong rừng thiên nhiên Việt Nam.

Qua những câu chuyện thực tế về du lịch sinh thái và bảo tồn, buổi giao lưu sẽ truyền cảm hứng giúp các con thêm yêu và bảo vệ thiên nhiên.

THE VIETNAM PHEASANT & OUR WILDLIFE HERO 🦜 [SUMMER CAMP 2026 - WEEK 7]

This week at Le Petit Musée, our Little Heroes had a special encounter with a real-life hero: Ms. Xuân Mai from Conservation Vietnam.

Through her inspiring storytelling, the children learned about the miraculous return of the Vietnamese Pheasant, a natural treasure that had been extinct in the wild for many years. Inspired by these vivid stories, our young artists used their observation and imagination to capture the proud beauty of this rare bird on canvas.

Special thanks to Ms. Mai and Conservation Vietnam for visiting us and sharing your deep love and inspiration for wildlife preservation. It was a meaningful lesson that planted a deep love for wildlife in their young hearts 💚

🌱 THE STORY OF THE VIETNAM PHEASANT AND ITS MAGICAL RETURN!

Did you know that deep in the ancient forests of Central Vietnam lives a truly beautiful bird? It sports striking, deep blue plumage and a snow-white crest on its head like a crown. This is the Vietnam Pheasant!

Due to habitat loss and many dangers, Vietnam Pheasants vanished from the wild for many years. But here is the wonderful news: 10 Vietnam Pheasants were recently brought back to their homeland in Quang Tri by conservationists, preparing for their big journey back into nature!

How did this journey to bring them home unfold? Come meet a real-life "Hero" to hear the full story!

🎙️ Speaker: Ms. Doan Nguyen Xuan Mai – COO of Conservation Vietnam, who has spent years trekking through forests to protect the Vietnam Pheasant, rare primates, and many other endangered species.
