Đặt những giá trị sử thi của bộ phim Odyssey mới ra mắt của đạo diễn Christopher Nolan vào thời đại này, ta thấy cách con người tiếp nhận tri thức đã khác xa trước kia. Khi mọi thứ đều có sẵn trên mạng và được trí tuệ nhân tạo dọn sẵn ra bàn chỉ trong vài giây, khoảng cách giữa "chưa" biết và "đã" biết bỗng ngắn lại đến ngỡ ngàng.

Người ta tranh luận về đủ mọi chủ đề trên trời dưới biển, từ địa chính trị, kinh tế vĩ mô cho đến những xu hướng công nghệ mới nhất chỉ qua vài bài báo ngắn hoặc video lướt qua trong tích tắc. Chúng ta sở hữu một kho dữ liệu khổng lồ trong đầu, nhưng đôi khi năng lực thấu hiểu bản chất vấn đề lại teo tóp đi. Biết rất nhiều tên gọi và bề nổi của sự việc, nhưng lại mù mờ trước những tầng sâu logic vận hành bên dưới. Điều đó vô tình tước đi cái cảm giác trăn trở và tự mình tìm tòi.

"My husband and I had a short trip to Singapore last week. I always thought it was a bit predictable, but it turns out that’s just on the surface. The locals have built so much clever, interactive charm into the city that you only really see if you take the time to look.

We spent our days moving from the busy city streets out to the islands, enjoying the clear weather and exploring the local food. It was a good reminder that no place is boring if you’re curious enough to pay attention. You just have to look a little harder to find the good stuff. 🧡🍀"
