One Trip, One Suitcase… Full of Artwork 🎨✈️

We recently had the pleasure of meeting a lovely young woman from Australia who has a wonderful passion: collecting artwork from all around the world — Argentina, Brazil, America, China, and many more. Each piece has its own story and a special place in her collection.

Some of the paintings cost only around $20, but having them professionally framed in Australia can sometimes cost as much as $500! 😳

So, while visiting Vietnam, she decided to bring her artwork along and have it framed at Khung Xinh — beautifully done, while saving quite a bit of money. We think that was a pretty smart decision! 😄

At first, she was planning to ship the paintings back to Australia. But after we advised her that checking them in as luggage would be safer, she decided to let the paintings fly home with her! ✈️

And then came our mission:
Wrap it. Wrap it again. And wrap it one more time… 😆

We carefully packed everything with multiple layers of cardboard and protective foam to make sure her precious artwork would travel safely all the way home.

And the best part? She didn’t have to wait for shipping or worry about delivery. She simply sat and waited at Khung Xinh, and received her beautifully framed artwork right away! ❤️

Hôm nay tui mình đã tập trung làm việc hết công suất để kịp hoàn thành một bộ tranh cho một gia đình khách quen đã gắn bó với Khung Xinh suốt rất nhiều năm.

Mình vẫn nhớ những ngày đầu, khi em còn chưa lập gia đình. Khung Xinh đã làm khung cho lãnh sự quán nơi em làm việc, rồi làm cho công ty của em.

Sau đó là đến ngày em kết hôn…

Rồi mình lại được làm ảnh cho gia đình nhỏ của em, in tranh canvas cho ba chú cún cưng đáng yêu.

Và hôm nay, mình lại được cùng em hoàn thiện một bộ tranh cho cả đại gia đình. Trong đó có cả hình ảnh siêu âm của em bé đang chờ ngày chào đời. Trong suốt quá trình lựa chọn layout và bố cục , kích thước được chỉnh sửa rất nhiều lần …

Em bảo với mình rằng muốn treo xong tất cả trước khi đón thành viên mới về nhà.

Nghe vậy thôi mà mình thấy thật xúc động.

Suốt cả ngày hôm nay, mình ngồi chỉnh từng bức ảnh, sửa từng chi tiết nhỏ, cân lại màu sắc, bố cục… rồi chờ từng tấm hình được in ra thành phẩm.

Đó là những lúc mình cảm thấy công việc của mình thật ý nghĩa.

Có lẽ điều mình hạnh phúc nhất không phải chỉ là hoàn thành một đơn hàng, mà là được đồng hành cùng khách hàng qua từng cột mốc của cuộc sống.

Em cảm ơn mình rất nhiều lần và nói rất trân quý sự nhiệt tình cũng như sự chăm chút từng chút một để bộ tranh khi treo lên sẽ thật hoàn hảo trong ngôi nhà của mình.

Những lời như vậy làm mình thấy mọi sự cố gắng đều rất xứng đáng.

Today, I spent the entire day working at full capacity to finish a special gallery wall for a family who has been with Khung Xinh for many years.

I still remember when she was single. Back then, Khung Xinh made frames for the Consulate where she worked, and later for her company.

Then came her wedding…

After that, I had the joy of framing photos for her little family, printing canvas artworks of her three beloved dogs, and now…

Today, I had the honor of creating a gallery wall for her entire family, including the precious ultrasound photo of the little baby who is about to arrive.

She told me she wanted everything beautifully displayed before welcoming the newest member of the family home.

That simple sentence touched my heart.

I spent the day carefully editing every photo, adjusting colors, refining every little detail, and waiting to see each image come to life in print.

Khung Xinh đã thiết kế và dựng phối cảnh 3D bộ tranh treo cho một khách hàng ở Thanh Hóa – cũng là một người em vô cùng thân thiết với admin.

Từ một không gian còn khá trống trải và có phần tĩnh lặng, những bức tranh đã mang đến điểm nhấn đầy màu sắc, tạo nên sự ấm áp, gần gũi và đậm chất gia đình. Mỗi tác phẩm không chỉ làm đẹp ngôi nhà mà còn kể một câu chuyện, lưu giữ những cảm xúc và kỷ niệm của gia chủ.

Sometimes, all a home needs is a few carefully chosen artworks to completely transform the space. ❤️

This is a recent project by Khung Xinh, where we created a custom 3D wall art layout for a client in Thanh Hoa—who also happens to be a dear friend of the admin.

When we first received photos of the room, the wall felt a little empty, making the space look calm but lacking a focal point. Together, we selected each artwork, adjusted the sizes, and carefully arranged the composition in a 3D preview. The result was a home that felt warmer, more vibrant, and truly reflected the spirit of family living.

This is our favorite part of the process. Before our clients even hang their artwork, they can already visualize how their space will look. Once the proportions, colors, and overall feeling come together, choosing the perfect pieces becomes so much easier.

BÍ QUYẾT TREO TRANH ĐẸP CHUẨN GU CHO PHÒNG KHÁCH INDUSTRIAL TƯỜNG XÁM LOANG LỔ

Phong cách Industrial (Công nghiệp) luôn mang lại nét cá tính, phóng khoáng và chút bụi phủi rất riêng nhờ những mảng tường bê tông mài xám loang lổ. Tuy nhiên, để một bức tranh nghệ thuật—đặc biệt là dòng poster cổ điển như Air France—không bị "nuốt chửng" bởi mảng tường thô mộc này, bạn cần nắm rõ những nguyên tắc bài trí dưới đây.

1. QUY TẮC VÀNG VỀ TỶ LỆ VÀ VỊ TRÍ TREO

Độ cao chuẩn Gallery (145 - 150 cm): Tâm của bức tranh nên nằm đúng ở tầm mắt người nhìn, tức khoảng 145 - 150 cm tính từ mặt sàn lên. Điều này tạo cảm giác thư thái và tự nhiên nhất khi thưởng lãm.

2. NGHỆ THUẬT NỔI BẬT KHUNG TRANH TRÊN TƯỜNG BÊ TÔNG

Tận dụng sự tương phản màu sắc: Tường xám loang lổ thuộc tông màu lạnh và thô nhám. Việc chọn khung gỗ/sơn màu trắng sẽ tạo nên một đường viền tách biệt hoàn hảo, làm bật lên sắc xanh lam nhạt và các chi tiết cơ khí tinh tế của bức tranh.

Sự kết hợp chất liệu: Ngoài khung trắng thanh thoát, nếu muốn tăng tính góc cạnh, bạn cũng có thể cân nhắc các dòng khung kim loại màu đen tĩnh điện hoặc sắt thô—những chất liệu "biểu tượng" của phong cách Industrial.

THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO DISPLAYING ART IN AN INDUSTRIAL LIVING ROOM WITH RAW CONCRETE ƯALLS

The Industrial style is celebrated for its bold, edgy, and unrefined character, largely defined by raw, mottled concrete walls. However, to ensure an artwork—especially a classic vintage poster like Air France—doesn't get "swallowed up" by the rustic backdrop, you need to master a few key styling principles.

1. THE GOLDEN RULES OF PROPORTION AND PLACEMENT

Gallery-Standard Height (145 - 150 cm / 57 - 59 inches): The center of the artwork should rest at eye level, roughly 145 to 150 cm from the floor. This creates the most natural and comfortable viewing angle.

Proportional to the Sofa: The framed print should span about 2/3 to 3/4 of the total width of the sofa below it. This ratio prevents the artwork from looking swallowed by the furniture while maintaining balanced visual weight.

Dạo gần đây, Khung Xinh có một niềm vui rất đặc biệt.

Rất nhiều cô, nhiều chị mang đến những bức tranh thêu tay, đính đá để làm khung. Mỗi tác phẩm đều đẹp theo một cách riêng, nhưng điều khiến tụi mình xúc động hơn cả lại là câu chuyện phía sau mỗi bức tranh.

Có cô hàng xóm cũ của mình đã miệt mài thêu một bức tranh suốt 2–3 năm. Không vội vàng, mỗi ngày một chút, từng mũi kim cứ lặng lẽ nối tiếp nhau cho đến ngày tác phẩm hoàn thành. Rồi cô mang đến Khung Xinh để chọn một chiếc khung thật phù hợp trước khi treo ở văn phòng.

Có chị khách dành hàng tháng trời để hoàn thành một bức tranh đính đá. Có người làm tranh để thư giãn sau giờ làm, có người xem đó là món quà dành cho gia đình, cũng có người lưu giữ cả một chặng đường kiên nhẫn của chính mình.

One of my former neighbors spent 2–3 years patiently stitching a single embroidery.
