Consistency doesn’t mean doing everything every day.

Sometimes, you just need to make starting easier.

Pick one task.
Set a timer for 15 minutes.
And just start.

Most days, 15 minutes turns into more. And even when it doesn’t—you still showed up. 🤍

Small steps, repeated, become consistency.

How many times do you ever repeat any new thing you learn so that it’s yours completely?

Do you actually commit on what you are doing?

A process that matters cannot always be fast.

Some things need time.
Time to observe.
Time to adjust.
Time to make one precise movement after another.

Slow doesn’t mean inefficient.

Sometimes, slow is what precision looks like.

Say Hi again!!! It’s been a few days I haven’t practicing tambour and yes, you know how it would feel like when your hands got clumsy again.

How does the behind the scene look like?

Clean.
Dry.
Sort.
And repeat.

Because couture isn’t only about the moment you create. It’s about how carefully you prepare and take care for the materials.

The process

I would maximize all I currently have on hands and of course buy more if it is really required to do so.

Love tambouring beads by hand—watching an idea slowly become something tangible.

The next step is decorating the piece.

But what would you choose when your resources are limited? Do you create with what you already have, or do you go out and buy more materials to bring the design in your mind to life?

I don’t know since when practicing tambour becomes my pure morning therapeutic.

Don’t you love a quiet moment in the morning and focus on the stitches for perfection? Yes! Consistency makes perfection.

One month of tambour embroidery.

The difference isn’t dramatic until you look closely. The stitches are cleaner, more even, and my hands move with a little more confidence.

This is what progress in couture looks like: repetition, patience, and showing up even when the improvement feels invisible.

A month ago I was learning the technique. Today I’m starting to trust my hands.

Small stitches. Big progress.
