Should you get a tattoo if you’re unsure about the placement?

Areas near joints experience more movement and friction. Tattoos on the hands, neck, or forearms are harder to conceal, while a small piece placed in the middle of a large area may limit future compositions.

If you are deciding between a few spots, ask your artist to test the stencil in different sizes and positions. Observe it while standing, moving, and from a natural distance. The right placement often becomes clearer once the design is on your body.

If you still feel uncomfortable about visibility or future plans, waiting is completely reasonable. The tattoo can be done later, but the space it occupies will shape your options for years to come.
