The purpose of my research is to explore the rising Sustainable Wine consumption through the eyes of consumers. 💬 Anything But Chardonnay?

😳 Not this one from ! With a couple of friends which I haven’t seen for more than a decade, I enjoyed this lovely bottle of over a fun night of cheese 🧀 and charades 🙉.

It’s about $15 bottle and its everything I like about Chardonnay.

Think lemon 🍋 sorbet, crisp Granny Smith 🍏 , and a whiff of pineapple 🍍. I loved the crunchy texture, vibrant acidity, and the cleanliness of it.

The Y Series Riesling from is one refreshing wine! And it starts right from their viticulture practices:

🍷 Yalumba has been awarded 43 accolades globally for sustainable practices, including sustainable wine growing - 100% accredited by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.

🍷 As a Silver Member of , Yalumba aligned with the IWCA targets in becoming partners of the United Nations Race to Zero program.

🍷 Setting out to make the best wines they could i.e. wines that express the natural terroir in which the grapes are grown, Yalumba produces 100% vegan-friendly wines.

There is so much more that went into this wine which you can read about on the Yalumba website which is super interesting. Definitely a lot of loving went into making it.

👅 Here’s my tasting notes:

It’s a wine of freshness with flavours of grapefruit pith, green apple and river stone minerality with a fresh lemon sorbet finish.

It’s one of those wines that makes your mouth pucker so that you cry out for food from shellfish to salads to quiche.

Here is my Monday blues:

Too much indulgence can overpower, just as an imbalance in life can lead to chaos. Savour the complexities, relish the equilibrium, and let the tannins of resilience and moderation enrich your journey, creating a vintage life worth celebrating.

Embrace the subtle nuances, for just as a well-aged wine matures with time, so does the richness of our experiences deepen. The ebb and flow of joy and challenges, akin to the interplay of tannins, shape the tapestry of a fulfilling life.
