Vietnam Connection Music Festival - VNCMF Through meaningful cultural exchange activities, VNCMF aims to bring classical music closer the public.

Vietnam Connection Music Festival (VNCMF) was co-founded in 2015 by Dr. Chuong Vu, one of the outstanding Vietnamese-American musicians and Dr. Bui Cong Duy, an internationally acclaimed Vietnamese concert violinist. The festival brings distinguished international artists as well as accomplished Vietnamese musicians who live abroad to Vietnam to collaborate with excellent Vietnamese artists in the

performing and teaching of classical music. Thanks to the dedication of Vietnamese and international musicians, the generous sponsorship of Vietnam and overseas business and civic groups, and the enthusiasm of the general public, Vietnam Connection Music Festival is in its sixth season in 2020. In the first year of its existence, the festival was dedicated to celebrate the twenty-year anniversary of Vietnam-United States diplomatic relationship. VNCMF 2015 international renowned artists such as Jeff Bradetich, Susan Dubois, Christoph Hammer, Paul Leenhouts, Cynthia Roberts, and Allen Whear, along with top Vietnamese musicians and outstanding young musicians from leading institutes including The Julliard School, The Manhattan School of Music, Indiana University and University of North Texas have delighted classical music lovers with beautiful music in the festival’s four concerts. In its second season Vietnam Connection Music Festival had the pleasures of collaborating with International Chamber Players, Vietnam National Academy of Music, Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, the French Institute in Vietnam L’Espace, and the Goethe Institute Hanoi. VNCMF 2016 presented five concerts at Vietnam’s most prestigious concert halls including the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House, the Grand Concert Hall of Vietnam National Academy of Music, and the Concert Hall of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. In its third season VNCMF presented 11 special concerts, with the participation of nearly 40 leading Vietnamese and international artists from the United States. France, Russia, Ukraine, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and China. The VNCMF organizers had developed a variety of programs that are close, familiar, easy to understand and accessible to Vietnamese audiences. As education an important element in the operation of VNCMF, six talented young violinists aged 10 to 17 years old from prestigious Vietnamese music schools had been selected to participate in the festival. VNCMF provided them with the opportunity to study with internationally acclaimed music educators as well as to practice their performing skills along the professional artists in the 3 concerts designed specially for them in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hue. In the 2018 season the festival presented 11 concerts in Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City. For the first time VNCMF featured 3 orchestral concerts with repertoire raging from early baroque to late romantic. VNCMF 2018 welcomed 4 Featured Artists - violinist Stephanie Chase, double bassist Jeff Bradetich and the two string quartets Arod and Ulysses - along with nearly 50 musicians from Vietnam and 4 continents of the world. Our new collaborative organizations for the year includes the Danang Department of Culture and Sports, Van Lang University, Soul Academy and the Youth Cultural House of Ho Chi Minh City. Along with 14 concerts in Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City, VNCMF celebrated its 5th anniversary in 2019 by co-organizing the first Vietnam International Music Competition for Violin and Chamber Music. The competition was held from 3rd to 11th of August, 2019, in the Grand Concert Hall of Vietnam National Academy of Music. It marked the first time that an international competition for violin and ensemble groups of piano and string instruments was hosted in Vietnam. The competition's jury included renowned artists and professors from leading universities and conservatories in the United States, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, Australia, South Korea, China, Japan, and Vietnam, among them Viktor Tretyakov, Stephanie Chase, Vilmos Szabadi, Kyung Sun Lee, Chen Xi, Natalya Likhopoy, Max Levinson, and Bui Cong Duy. With the jury’s dream team, the Competition had attracted talented candidates from all over the world, contributing to a top-class stage where Vietnamese young musicians had a chance to compete and learn, to gain valuable experiences and be inspired to improve oneself in the process of building their musical careers. In order to promote the development of classical music in particular and Vietnamese art culture in general as well as to improve the cultural life of Vietnamese people, VNCMF hopes to introduce more special concerts featuring a variety of themes, musical genres and musical instruments in the coming years, among them a concert to honor Vietnamese composers. VNCMF will also look forward to performing overseas in the near future. Đỗ Phương Nhi tốt nghiệp Thạc sĩ biểu diễn tại Học viện Âm nhạc Na Uy với Giáo sư Elise Båtnes, song song “Học viện dàn nhạc” tại Dàn nhạc Thính phòng Na Uy vào năm 2022. Cô tốt nghiệp Cử nhân tại Học viện Âm nhạc Barratt Due với Giáo sư Stephan Barratt-Due năm 2020.

Nhi là một nghệ sĩ độc tấu hoạt động tích cực, kể từ khi ra mắt trình diễn bản concerto Mendelssohn cung mi thứ với Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Quốc gia Việt Nam năm 11 tuổi. Cô đã biểu diễn độc tấu với các dàn nhạc lớn trong nước và quốc tế, như Dàn Thính Phòng Hà Nội, Trondheim Solistene, Dàn nhạc giao hưởng Stavanger, Oslo Camerata, Dàn nhạc Forsvarets-Musikk, Dàn nhạc giao hưởng Romerike, Barratt Due Philharmonic, và Dàn nhạc giao hưởng Fort Collins tại Hoa Kỳ.

Đa dạng và linh hoạt trong các thể loại âm nhạc, Nhi cũng là nghệ sỹ biểu diễn nhạc thính phòng và dàn nhạc, và có kinh nghiệm dày dặn từ các dàn nhạc chuyên nghiệp. Từ năm 2019 đến năm 2023, cô đã chơi trong các Dàn nhạc Oslo Philharmonic, Dàn nhạc Đài phát thanh Na Uy, Dàn Opera và Ba-lê của Na Uy, Dàn nhạc thính phòng Nauy, Dàn nhạc giao hưởng Trondheim và Dàn nhạc giao hưởng Stavanger. Cô đã thu âm một số album dàn nhạc trong Dàn nhạc Thính phòng Na Uy những năm gần đây, với các hãng đĩa Deutches Gramophone và Lawo. Nhi cũng chơi trong tứ tấu đàn dây Horus tham dự Oslo Quartet Series từ năm 2020 đến 2022.

Nhi đã tham gia 1 số Liên hoan âm nhạc quốc tế, như Pablo de Casals (2022), Rheingau tại Frankfurt (2023), Liên hoan âm nhạc Thái Bình Dương, lưu diễn Nhật Bản (2024), và Dàn nhạc Giao Hưởng Đương Đại Châu Á, thành lập tại Hong Kong năm 2025.

Từ năm 2024, cô chính thức trở thành thành viên tại Dàn nhạc Giao Hưởng Mặt Trời.

Do Phuong Nhi graduated "Master of Performance" at the Norwegian Academy of Music with professor Elise Båtnes, including orchestra-academy at The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra in 2022. She graduated her Batchelor at Barratt Due Music Institute with professor Stephan Barratt-Due in 2020.

Nhi is an active soloist since her debut Mendelssohn violin concerto with the Vietnam National Orchestra at the age of 11. She has been performing with several major national and international orchestras, such as Hanoi Chamber Orchestra, Trondheim Solistene, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Camerata, Forsvarets-Musikk Orchestra, Orchestra Symphony of Romerike, Barratt-Due Philharmonic, and the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra in the United States.

In 2015, she won first prize in the Sparre Olsen competition for young talents in Norway, held in Gjøvik.

Diversity and versatile in range of music gerne, Nhi also performs chamber and orchestra music, and has extensive working experience in professional orchestras. From 2019 to 2023, she played at the Oslo Philharmonic, The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, Det Norske Kammerorkester, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, and Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. She has recorded several orchestra albums in the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra in recent years, with labels as Deutches Gramophone and Lawo. Nhi also plays in "Horus string quartet" from the Oslo Quartet Series, from 2020-2022.

Nhi has fulfilled a short-term full time working contract at the Norwegian Radio Orchestra in summer 2023, and concert tour in Czech Republic. In 2023, Nhi has been participated as guest- concertmaster at VNSO. Several international music festivals she has been participated, such as Pablo de Casals (2022), Rheingau Music Festival (2023), Pacific Music Festival, touring in Japan (2024); and at the Asian Modern Symphony Orchestra in HongKong, founded in 2025.

Since 2024, she officially became a member of the Sun Symphony Orchestra.

She plays a Bernadel violin, made in 1899 in Paris.

Nguyễn Thiện Minh bắt đầu học violin từ năm bảy tuổi tại Học viện Âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam dưới sự hướng dẫn của Tiến sĩ Nguyễn Trọng Bình. Sau ba năm, anh tiếp tục theo học Nghệ sĩ Nhân dân Nguyễn Châu Sơn trong hơn một thập kỷ. Sau khi tốt nghiệp Học viện, Minh theo học chương trình Cử nhân và Thạc sĩ tại Học viện Âm nhạc Barratt Due ở Oslo, Na Uy, với sự hỗ trợ từ Dự án Transposition. Anh hoàn thành cả hai chương trình với thành tích xuất sắc dưới sự hướng dẫn của Giáo sư Stephan Barratt-Due.

Năm 2007, Minh giành Giải Nhất tại cuộc thi Mùa Thu toàn quốc, sau đó tiếp tục đoạt Giải Nhất tại Cuộc thi Concerto Quốc tế tổ chức tại Indonesia vào năm 2009. Kể từ đó, anh đã biểu diễn với tư cách nghệ sĩ độc tấu cùng nhiều dàn nhạc lớn tại Việt Nam như Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Hà Nội, Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Quốc gia Việt Nam, và Nhà hát Giao hưởng Nhạc Vũ kịch TP. Hồ Chí Minh.

Năm 2017, Minh trở về Việt Nam sau thời gian học tập tại Na Uy, và từ đó đến nay đang giảng dạy bộ môn violin tại Học viện Âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam. Năm 2024, anh sáng lập và đảm nhận vai trò Giám đốc Âm nhạc của chuỗi hòa nhạc Re.imagine, tổ chức các buổi diễn nhạc cổ điển kết hợp đa nghệ thuật đầu tiên tại Việt Nam, với mong muốn giới thiệu những chương trình nhạc cổ điển trong không gian đương đại và đa giác quan. Ngoài ra, Minh tham gia tổ chức và biểu diễn nhiều dự án nghệ thuật trên toàn quốc, với đam mê truyền đạt kiến thức cho thế hệ trẻ và không ngừng khám phá những chân trời âm nhạc mới.

Nguyễn Thiện Minh began studying the violin at the age of seven at the Vietnam National Academy of Music under the guidance of Dr. Nguyễn Trọng Bình. After three years, he continued his training with People’s Artist Nguyễn Châu Sơn for over a decade. Upon graduating from the Academy, Minh pursued his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, Norway, supported by the Transposition Project. He completed both degrees with distinction under the mentorship of Professor Stephan Barratt-Due.

In 2007, Minh won First Prize at Vietnam’s Autumn Concour, followed by First Prize at the International Concerto Competition in Indonesia in 2009. Since then, he has performed as a soloist with major Vietnamese orchestras including the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, and the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet and Symphony Orchestra.

In 2017, Minh returned to Vietnam from Norway, and currently teaches as Violin professor at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. In 2024, he founded and became the Music Director of Re.imagine Concert Series—Vietnam’s first cross-disciplinary initiative that reimagines classical music in contemporary, immersive settings. Minh remains active in organising and performing a wide range of artistic projects nationwide, driven by his passion to pass on his knowledge to younger generations while continuing to explore new musical horizons.

Nhạc trưởng HONNA Tetsuji là Giám đốc Âm nhạc kiêm Chỉ huy chính của Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Việt Nam. Honna Tetsuji học tại Dàn nhạc Hoàng gia Amsterdam Concertgebouw (1989 - 1991) và tại London Sifonietta (1995 - 1996). Ông được bổ nhiệm làm Chỉ huy của Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Osaka (1995-2001) và là Chỉ huy khách mời thường xuyên của Dàn nhạc Nagoya Philharmonic (1998-2001). Từ năm 2021, Ông là cố vấn nghệ thuật của Viện Âm nhạc Trẻ Việt Nam (VYMI).

Ông đã nhận được nhiều giải thưởng trong các cuộc thi tại Nhật Bản và Quốc tế: Giải Nhì tại cuộc thi chỉ huy Quốc tế Tokyo (1985), Giải Nhì tại cuộc thi Chỉ huy Quốc tế Arturo Toscanini - Italia (1990), Giải Nhất và giải Bartok tại cuộc thi Chỉ huy Quốc tế Budapest (1992), Giải thưởng Muramatsu (1994), Giải Fresh Arrtist của giải thưởng Âm nhạc của Nippon Steel Music (1995), Giải Khuyến khích của Sân khấu Nghệ thuật Osaka sau khi chỉ huy tất cả các bản giao hưởng của Franz Schubert (1997). Conductor HONNA Tetsuji is Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) Tetsuji Honna studied with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam (1989–1991) and the London Sinfonietta (1995–1996). He served as Conductor of the Osaka Symphony Orchestra (1995–2001) and was a regular Guest Conductor of the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra (1998–2001). Since 2021, he has been Artistic Advisor to the Vietnam Youth Music Institute (VYMI).

He has received numerous awards in both national and international competitions, including:
• Second Prize at the Tokyo International Conducting Competition (1985)
• Second Prize at the Arturo Toscanini International Conducting Competition in Italy (1990)
• First Prize and the Bartók Prize at the Budapest International Conducting Competition (1992)
• Muramatsu Award (1994)
• Fresh Artist Prize from the Nippon Steel Music Awards (1995)
• Special Encouragement Award from Osaka Performing Arts for conducting the complete symphonies of Franz Schubert (1997).

He has also been honored with many awards, commendations, and medals for his contributions to the arts:
• Award from the Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam (2009)
• Award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (2011)
• Medal for Cultural Contributions from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam

Young Artist Profile - Chân dung Nghệ sĩ Trẻ Liên hoan Âm nhạc Vietnam Connection Music Festival 2025:

Nguyễn Ngọc Đan Lê, nghệ sĩ trẻ đến từ Hà Nội, bắt đầu hành trình âm nhạc của mình cùng với cây đàn piano từ năm 5 tuổi. Những năm tiếp theo, Đan Lê theo học tại Học viện âm nhạc quốc gia Việt Nam và đạt danh hiệu học sinh xuất sắc nhiều năm liên tiếp.

Dưới sự dẫn dắt của Thạc sĩ Nguyễn Thị Thanh Vân và Tiến sĩ Nguyễn Trinh Hương, Đan Lê tích cực tham gia và đạt nhiều giải thưởng tại các cuộc thi âm nhạc uy tín trong và ngoài nước như Giải Vàng bảng A cuộc thi Piano do Học viện âm nhạc quốc gia Việt Nam tổ chức, Giải Vàng cuộc thi The S. E. Asean Beethoven Video Clip, Giải Nhất Mendelssohn International Piano Competition in Asia Pacific tổ chức tại Thanh Đảo, Trung Quốc (2024), Giải Bạc Asia International Piano Competition tại Hàn Quốc, Giải Nhì bảng F cuộc thi 5th SICPC 2023 tại Singapore (không có giải Nhất). Năm 2022, Đan Lê cùng bạn diễn đã giành Giải Vàng hạng mục hòa tấu tại Rising Stars International Arts Festival and Competition.

Nguyen Ngoc Dan Le, a talented young pianist from Hanoi, started playing piano at age five. Dan Le studied at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and consistently earned top student honors.

Under the guidance of Dr. Nguyen Trinh Huong and Nguyen Thi Thanh Van, Dan Le has won many awards in piano competitions, both in Vietnam and internationally. Le won Gold Prizes Group A at the Vietnam National Academy of Music's Piano Competition and the S.E. ASEAN Beethoven Video Clip Competition. Dan Le also took First Place at the Mendelssohn International Piano Competition in Asia Pacific (Qingdao-China, 2024), a Silver Prize at the Asia International Piano Competition (South Korea), and Second Prize Category F at the 5th SICPC 2023 in Singapore (no First Prize was awarded). In 2022, Dan Le and her partner won the Gold Prize for ensemble at the Rising Stars International Arts Competition.

Furthermore, Le also has had the invaluable opportunity to refine her skills and broaden her expertise through masterclasses with foreign piano professors, including Can Cakmur, Giuseppe Modugno, Vsevolod Dvorkine, ....

In 2025, Nguyen Ngoc Dan Le graduated with excellent marks from her 9/9 Intermediate piano program and continues to pursue her musical aspirations with further plans.

Nguyễn Bá Duy Anh tốt nghiệp xuất sắc chương trình Cử nhân chuyên ngành Piano tại Học viện Âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam năm 2025 dưới sự hướng dẫn của Thạc sĩ Trần Tâm Ngọc. Trước đó, Duy Anh từng tốt nghiệp thủ khoa chương trình Trung cấp Piano tại Học viện Âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam năm 2021. Đặc biệt, trong quá trình học tập, Duy Anh đã theo học cùng lúc ba trường đại học.

Trong quá trình theo học tại Học viện Âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam, Duy Anh đã được trao tặng nhiều học bổng danh giá, bao gồm Học bổng Toyota và Học bổng Đào Minh Quang. Duy Anh cũng tham gia các lớp masterclass với các giáo sư, nghệ sĩ quốc tế nổi tiếng như Darío Ntaca, Pablo Galdo, Staffan Sandström, Quỳnh Nguyễn, Stefano Miceli và Vyacheslav Kiselev. Nguyen Ba Duy Anh recently graduated with distinction from the Bachelor of Music program in Piano Performance at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in 2025, under the tutelage of professor Tran Tam Ngoc. Previously, Duy Anh graduated as the valedictorian of the Intermediate Piano Program at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in 2021. Remarkably, during his academic journey, he managed to pursue studies at three universities simultaneously

Throughout his time at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, Duy Anh was awarded several prestigious scholarships, including the Toyota Scholarship and the Dao Minh Quang Scholarship. He also participated in masterclasses with internationally acclaimed professors and artists, including Darío Ntaca, Pablo Galdo, Staffan Sandström, Quynh Nguyen, Stefano Miceli, and Vyacheslav Kiselev. In early 2025, Duy Anh, along with two other Vietnamese students, was selected to attend an exclusive meeting and discussion with the legendary pianist Martha Argerich in Switzerland, as part of the Weltmusik Piano Festival.

Duy Anh has achieved numerous notable accolades in prestigious competitions. His achievements include First Prize at the Melbourne International Piano and Strings Competition 2021; Third Prize at the Kayserburg Vietnam Youth Piano Competition & Festival 2022; Third Prize at the Hanoi International Piano Competition 2015; and Third Prize at the Thailand Mozart International Piano Competition 2014, where he was the youngest contestant in his category.

Tiến sĩ Nguyễn Trinh Hương hiện đang là Phó Khoa Piano của Học viện Âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam. Cô bắt đầu học Piano tại Nhạc viện Hà Nội năm lên 7 tuổi. Năm 1989, cô sang Matxcơva (Nga) theo học tại Trường Âm nhạc Gnessin. Năm 1994, cô tiếp tục học tập tại Nhạc viện Quốc gia Tchaikovsky ở Matxcơva và tốt nghiệp trình độ cử nhân, thạc sĩ và tiến sĩ tại đây. Năm 2000, cô đã đoạt giải III tại Cuộc thi Piano Quốc tế được tổ chức tại Rome – Ý.

Với thâm niên gần 20 năm giảng dạy tại Học viện Âm nhạc quốc gia Việt Nam, cô đã đào tạo ra nhiều học sinh, sinh viên giành được nhiều giải thưởng tại các cuộc thi quốc gia, các cuộc thi quốc tế khu vực Đông Nam Á, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaisia, Trung Quốc, Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc, Nga, Anh, Pháp và Ý.

Với tư cách là một nghệ sĩ biểu diễn, Nguyễn Trinh Hương đã biểu diễn độc tấu cùng Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Việt Nam, Nhà hát Giao hưởng Nhạc Vũ kịch Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh và International Chamber Players. Pianist Nguyen Trinh Huong is currently the Associate Chair of the Piano Department at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. She started her piano training at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music at the age of seven. In 1989, she came to Moscow (Russia) to study at the Gnessin School of Music and in 1994, she continued her studies at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory of Music, where she obtained her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees. In 2000, she was awarded third prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy.

Dr. Huong has been on the faculty of the Vietnam National Academy of Music for the past 20 years. Her students have won many awards at important national and international competitions in several Southeast countries, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Japan, Korea, Russia, UK, France, and Italy.

As a performer, Dr. Huong has appeared as a soloist with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, Vietnam Classical Players, and Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera. She has given many solo recitals and chamber music performances in Vietnam, Russia, South Korea, Malaysia, Sweden, Austria, and Spain. She has regularly been invited as a featured artist at music festivals, including Autumn Melodies Art Festival, and Vietnam Connection Music Festival for many consecutive years.

Dr. Huong is currently a board member of the Vietnam Connection Music Festival and teaches piano at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

Nghệ sĩ cello Đào Tuyết Trinh học cello lúc 9 tuổi với các nhà giáo Đặng Kim Thuận, Nguyễn Ngọc Hiền và Vũ Hướng. Sau khi hoàn thành xuất sắc bậc thạc sĩ biểu diễn đàn violoncelle tại Học viện Âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam (VNAM), cô tham gia các khoá học ngắn ngày về âm nhạc đương đại và hoà tấu thính phòng tại Việt Nam và Mỹ.

Là nghệ sĩ biểu diễn âm nhạc giao hưởng, hoà tấu thính phòng và solo, cô từng là thành viên và bè trưởng bè cello Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Việt Nam (VNSO), thành viên nhóm trio Sông Hồng, nhóm HNME và hiện là thành viên dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Mặt Trời (SSO).

Trinh đã được mời biểu diễn thính phòng và solo tại Festival Pundaquit (Philippine), biểu diễn cùng trio Sông Hồng tại nhiều tỉnh thành tại Việt Nam và nhiều nước trên thế giới như Mỹ, Anh, Trung Quốc, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Campuchia và Cộng hoà liên bang Đức.

Trinh cũng tham gia hội đồng giám khảo cuộc thi Mozart (Bangkok) và Chiangmai Ginastera Festival (Thailand).

Cellist Dao Tuyet Trinh studied cello at the age of 9 with teachers Dang Kim Thuan, Nguyen Ngoc Hien, and Vu Huong. After successfully completing her master's degree in cello performance at the Vietnam National Academy of Music (VNAM), she attended short courses in contemporary music and chamber music in Vietnam and the United States.

As an orchestral, chamber and solo performer, she has been a member and leader of the cello section of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO), a member of the Song Hong Trio, the HNME and is currently a member of the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO).

Trinh has been invited to perform chamber music and solo at the Pundaquit Festival (Philippines), and with the Song Hong Trio in many provinces and cities in Vietnam and many countries around the world such as the US, UK, China, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Germany.

Trinh has served on the jury of the Mozart Competition Bangkok and the Chiangmai Ginastera Festival in Thailand.

Nghệ sĩ cello Trần Thị Mơ hiện là thành viên của Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Mặt Trời. Trước đó, cô đảm nhiệm vị trí bè trưởng bè cello của Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Quốc gia Việt Nam. Năm 2015, cô được trao tặng danh hiệu Nghệ sĩ nhân dân, danh hiệu cao quý nhất được Chính phủ Việt Nam dành để vinh danh các nghệ sĩ có những thành tích và cống hiến đáng ghi nhận cho nghệ thuật.

Trần Thị Mơ tốt nghiệp xuất sắc môn cello tại Nhạc viện Hà Nội. Năm 1982, cô được chọn tham gia cuộc thi âm nhạc quốc tế mang tên Tchaikovsky tại Matxcơva (Liên Xô cũ). Do những thành tích của mình, năm 1989, cô được cử đi tu nghiệp trên Đại học tại Nhạc viện Quốc gia Nga mang tên Tchaikovsky.

Là một nghệ sĩ hoạt động trong lĩnh vực biểu diễn từ khi còn là sinh viên, Trần Thị Mơ đã thể hiện thành công nhiều tác phẩm Việt Nam và nước ngoài trong vai trò độc tấu. Cô không chỉ là thành viên của Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng, mà còn tham gia các dàn nhạc thính phòng và các nhóm hoà tấu. Cô có những chương trình biểu diễn độc lập trên sân khấu, trên sóng phát thanh và truyền hình Việt Nam, cũng như nhiều quốc gia khác trên thế giới.

Nghệ sĩ Trần Thị Mơ đã được Nhà nước tặng thưởng Huy chương Vì sự nghiệp Âm nhạc Việt Nam và phong tặng danh hiệu Nghệ sĩ Ưu tú năm 2001.

Hiện nay, cô cũng tham gia giảng dạy tại Học viện âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam

Tran Thi Mo is currently a member of the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO) in Hanoi, Vietnam. Before joining the SSO, she was the principal cellist with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra. She holds the title of People's Artist, the highest honor which is awarded to an artist for his or her contribution and dedication to the arts by the Vietnamese Government.

Having graduated with the highest distinction from the Hanoi National Conservatory of Music, Ms. Mo was chosen as one of the contestants in the 1982 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, former Xoviet Union. In 1989, she was selected to attend the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory for her post-graduate studies.

Tran Thi Mo has given many successful recitals and solo performances with orchestras, live as well as on radio and television in Vietnam. An orchestral musician since her student years, she has been on tours with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and other ensembles in many countries all over the world.

In recognition of her outstanding achievements, Ms. Mo was honored by the Vietnamese Government with the medal "For the Cause of Music" and the title of Merited Artist in 2001.

Ms. Mo is a cello faculty at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

Nghệ sĩ kèn Cor Arseniy Kostenko đã đạt nhiều thành tích cao tại các cuộc thi âm nhạc quốc tế được tổ chức tại nhiều quốc gia trên thế giới, bao gồm Cuộc thi Âm nhạc Quốc tế American Virtuoso (Mùa đông 2023), Cuộc thi Âm nhạc Pháp (2024) và nhiều cuộc thi khác. Ban giám khảo đã khen ngợi "màn trình diễn xuất sắc các kỹ thuật hiện đại" và "sự tương phản âm lượng đầy ấn tượng" của anh. Nhờ thành công này, Arseniy đã được mời biểu diễn tại Carnegie Hall ở New York.

Hiện tại, Arseniy là nghệ sĩ kèn Cor chính của Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Hà Nội. Anh cũng thường xuyên xuất hiện với tư cách nghệ sĩ khách mời của Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Quốc gia Việt Nam, Dàn nhạc Mặt Trời và Nhà hát Opera và Ballet Quốc gia Việt Nam.

Arseniy Kostenko (French Horn) is a laureate of international music competitions held in various countries around the world, including the American Virtuoso International Music Competition (2023 Winter Edition), the France Music Competition (2024), and others. Members of the jury praised his “excellent performance of modern techniques” and “impressive dynamic contrast.” As a result of his success, Arseniy was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Currently, Arseniy serves as the principal French horn of the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra. He also appears regularly as a guest artist with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, the Sun Orchestra, and the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.

Earlier in his career, Arseniy worked as a principal horn of a chamber orchestra in Mumbai, India, and held the same position in the symphony orchestra of the Belgorod State Philharmonic in Russia.

Beyond his orchestral engagements, Arseniy has performed widely as a soloist and chamber musician, captivating audiences in concert halls across Russia and India.
