Weekend Market The Tay Ho Weekend Market is a new way of shopping for Hanoians: buy really safe & tasty food, talk to the producers and have fun with your family and friends!

Created in March 2010, the Tay Ho Weekend Market has been a cost-effective way to help small & medium producers market high-quality Vietnamese products directly to Hanoi consumers and also to promote these products to potential customers in the food catering sector. In addition, it has become an important social and networking event for foreign and Vietnamese people in Hanoi. This success led us to open in June 2012 the Naturally Vietnam shop in the building next to the yard of the market so that the food and beverages become available during the entire week. Consequently, the THWM concept has evolved: as products become available everyday inside the shop, there is less need for producers/retailers’ staff to rent a table on the market day. The THWM’s objectives are now:
- To continue being an important social and networking weekly event for Hanoi foreign and Vietnamese residents.
- To provide high-quality food and beverages that can be eaten on site or ready-to-eat at home or for picnic.
- To host special events, like for the official launching of a new product.
- To continue help producers (food/beverages or not) promote and/or sell their products. For new customers of the Naturally Vietnam shop, it is also good to come on Saturday morning, so to chat with regular customers and with Naturally Vietnam food safety specialists. We have an agro-alimentary engineer who is in charge of the control quality, this is in addition to compliance with Vietnam’s business and sanitary regulations.
